LOL. You gotta admit though...it looks like she was trying to transition the painting to the old bizantine style.

I still fail to comprehend how she carried on with all that work? I mean...you can tell you've fucked up a small portion of it if it looks way off from the rest of the painting.

May as well have a bit of class.

I seem to recall a scene with Mr. Bean accidentally spraypainting over the mona lisa and trying to fix it. Don't remember where it's from exactly, and I can't find it, but it does come to mind, seeing that.

Original artist's family has accepted the woman's apologizes.

Well, Spain has a huge crysis and all, most of the "minor" art, which lies in little towns' Museums or churches are left for dead(HA!), and that's the case of this one. That woman thought she could "repair" the painting and ended screwing the whole thing. At least she tried and now that picture is famous, C'MON! POSITIVE READ!!! :p!!!
