The changes to the origin aren't well thought out or explained. For some reason splinter knows everything about everyone and everything but before life in the sewer he was a lab rat? How does he know of shredder when the world believes the foot to be a myth? I didn't care for shalub as his va either he sounds like hes trying to read his lines for a broadway role. If your a fan of the oldies don't bother if you hate bay movies don't bother if your in love megan fox/april o'neil then this is the film for you!

Apparently the original idea was that those were the "American" branch of the Foot. The Japanese branch are all traditional ninjas.

they were just bad at being incognito, for a group that's supposed to be shrouded in mystery everyone knows who they are, I mean the original movie had april telling about it, but no one believed her, this is just out in the open.

They're foot soldiers in this so that explains they're military tactics hopefully they go with ninjas in the sequel

^^basically, I wanted this to be better than expected but the story feels rushed and you can tell they tacked on the whole japanese shredder part because he doesn't fit in with the overall plot. Karai has no effect on the plot they constantly do close ups of her to show she's important but she doesn't DO anything meanwhile coincidence o'neil is boring us with her ridiculous attempts at convincing a news editor to report nonsense based on her word alone I was shaking my head through the whole film and not because its not the old turtles but so much doesn't make sense in this movie just from a story telling perspective. Now they're making part two so it'll be more of the same because no one holds these films to a higher standard and I hate " Turn off your brain " films because that just gives them license to be lazy and you willingly agree to be dumb to enjoy it

All your posts on this thread so far were about your childhood being ruined , posting meme videos and about how all movies are bad. you are 12 and it shows.
Dont comment on stuff unless you have something to actually say, commenting just to throw in a joke doesnt really work when you cant argue about anything that is happening.
