I played Conker the most when i was 4... good times...It's a close call, with Conker, SSB and Goldeneye. Also Crusin' USA.

I personally loved Super Mario 64.Even threw now versus most of the other terrific games that were developed and released for the 64 that one still stands out threw all these years and put a shineing new light on how 3D platformers should be made.
Meatball said, August 05, 2008, 03:43:12 amGoldenye is overrated.Voted Conker.Goldeneye IS overrated...Perfect Dark plzzz.I voted OoT though since PD isn't on there.
Voted for SSB, but shit, all of the games on the list sans Banj-Kazooie and CBFD (haven't played the latter) are grand. Banjo-Kazooie was good, but not great.
How can Mario kart out prioritize diddykong racing for the list? DKR did everything mario kart did, but more and better.
Loved killing those huge alien bugs in Body Harvest. It had some good music too. I think that was one of those overlooked games. Kinda like Ico and Okami were on the PS2.
I put Smash Bros.I think that version superior (gameplay wise) to both Melee and Brawl. Small roster and low content, but man, I could play verses against the computer for hours.
Goldeneye007.It had a fantastic single player mode and stuck pretty well with the movie.Lots of replay value with unlocking cheats and harder difficulties that were actually challenging.Multiplayer mode with loads of rules customization that we wouldn't see again until Halo. The controls were spot on, and for those weird people you could even change them.No Oddjob.Slappers only.Final Destination Temple.Someone please explain to me how everyone liking this game translates to "overrated"Edit: Someone please tell me of a FPS game before Goldeneye where headshots mattered.
Shitty list lacks Majora's Mask. Conker's Bad Fur Day prioritized over MM?QuoteNo Oddjob.I've been wondering, what's the deal with Oddjob being overpowered?
He's about half the normal height, so he's harder to hit.I also forgot to mention Jaws. He's tall enough that he gets headshots without needing to aim.
QuoteSomeone please explain to me how everyone liking this game translates to "overrated"When a game gains to many fanboys it automaticly shifts to "overrated" dispite living past that and doing what it was designed to do. It's hate for the sake of the amount of love it gets. It's balance in the world. =D
Conker's Bad Fur Day by a country mile. Great single and multi-player modes that are excellent even today, something not even goldeneye could achieve. Also specail mention to Super Smash Bros, Zelda Ocarina of Time and KI: Gold (ULTRA COMBO!!!!!!!! never gets old).

I think I remember imps dying faster is I punched them in the head instead of the chest.
Doom only "looked" 3d, in reality the gameplay was still 2-dimensional. Remember you couldn't aim up or down, it automatically did that for you. Also of note is that there is only one location depth-wise to stand on given any spot on the automap. If you've ever used IDCLIP, this is pretty obvious.Okay you know what, let's stop comparing Goldeneye to Perfect Dark. Rare built Perfect Dark on Goldeneye's success and had a chance to improve basically everything, we get it, ok.
Actually when I played DOOM it was in full 3D. I used the Doomsday Engine. But I believe headshots counted in the 2D version as well.

Dispite Treasure having a couple of "meh" games to my memory they always had quality games developed.Have they any plans for the next-gen consoles yet or have I missed a couple games?

Mario Tennis - due to the fact it's the only N64 game I still want to play. And just to clear up the rumors, Perfect Dark indeed wipes the floor with Goldeneye in every possible way.
Mario Tennis was awesome. But Mario Kart is inferior when compared to Diddy Kong Racing. I still haven't gotten the fourth piece to open the stupid pigs mouth.
Can't decide between Zelda OoT and Goldeneye. Those are my favorites and my first 2 games for N64.Also RCP90 > RCP120.No Star Fox 64? This poll sucks!
Bastard Wolf said, August 14, 2008, 09:00:34 amNo Star Fox 64? This poll sucks!A lot of us agree to an extent. Hell, I wouldn't pick any of those games as favorites on the poll, even if I played most of them. Not to say they're bad, though.
Best N64 game for me is WCW/NWO Revenge.Granted that the newer WWE games were alittle better. It all started with that game forme. Second best would be Mario Party 3 withfriends of course.
WWF No Mercy is my personal choice being a big wrestling fan still to this day this had alot of features especially the CAW mode thats what every wrestling game fan wanted, kinda off topic but.......did you know, using project 64 emulator you can dump textures and edit them in photoshop :Dtheres youtube vids on it.i put my face on a wrestlers default face and blended the colours lol, i was trying to look like georges ST pierre from ufc haha
i'm gonna have to say shadowman... i can hear the crickets already.i still can't find that last goddamned govi...
I think I've heard of that game before, but I never played it. Only read about it in an old issue of EGM.
