ok... i'm doing quite the research, but did not find any straight answer.


so here it is: i've just downloaded some HD movies, that i want to play on my Xbox 360.

the deal is, i quite don't know how. when i tried, it had to be resized to fit the screen, wich probably means i'm doing something wrong.

(just to fill the details, i simply added the movies (which are on Xvid Format) to the WMP library, then i opened them on the console).

the deal is, when i run on native resolution, it has a black box, which probably means that the movie ain't actually playing on HD

(some movies i saw on xbox live that full screen resolution).


so, i'm asking. does any of you guys know how to play HD movies that are on your computer on the 360? which format to use, etc..?

i'm using Windows XP SP2 with WMP 11, BTW.
