Hi, thanks for posting. I feel the need to say that I was not aware the download links were dead. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Firelord's account has been closed for some reason, but he'll make a new one and reupload and update the links.

We're really sorry this is taking so long. And I'll admit, things have been left behind in the course of time, but it's not that we wanted things to end up this way. We want to release the next version, but there's always something that gets in the way; a lot has changed for every member in the last year. Some of us have become interested in other side projects, others (like Chatman and myself) have very busy work schedules. Do we have the time? Yes. Do we want to release this? Absolutely. Do we always want to work every single time we don't have an obligation in the way? No, not always. However, yeah, we have grown lazy with this, and we're really sorry for that. I know it sounds like we're making excuses, and this is partially correct, I'll admit, but, on the same token, I think you all should understand that we're not professionals. We're just a group of four guys that got together to make a fan game. We have many things in our lives that get in the way and halt progress, and some of us aren't as experienced as others. I've actually had to take time away from the project to teach Sandman how to code so that future updates will come quicker.

Also, in response to the suggestion of deleting our posts and coming back when we're ready, I'd like to avoid doing so. While the board goes dead quite often, it's still our one and only direct line with the community (bug reports and such).  So, in a nutshell, we're sorry. We'll do what we can to pick up the pace and release the next version as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Hello. Where's the release? It was more than 2 years since the release of MK vs. SF ver. 0.2.  10 Months ago we saw the last progress of this project. What about now? Too much time has passed. Why such a silence? Omg, i'm scare for this project...

I understand that the development of MK vs. SF is hard and too long. But why don't you post the news for already 10 months? Almost year you keep silence, we don't like this. It seems like your project is dead (though we know that it isn't). Tell us something. We are worrying...

I gotta admit, we've been pretty sloppy regarding keeping you guys updated. Chatman has a pretty tight schedule due to work, but he's been pumping out balance fixing and AI implementing for the 0.25 cast, so 0.25 is pretty much his area now. I'd lend a hand if I didn't suck at AI coding honestly, lol. As for me, I've been working quite a bit on Bison and Liu Kang for 0.3. So basically, we've been doing what you might call a "divide and conquer" thing, where Brion polishes the next release and I ease up the progress for the one after that. We had stumbled upon a couple of problems in the past because 0.3 would end up lacking some small details 0.25 has and other things of the sort, which is why we hit a few setbacks along the way, but we're getting closer to 0.25's release. I wish I could share at least a few screenshots with you guys, but I'm actually at a PC assembly class, so... no dice there, I'm afraid.

Don't worry, this is far from dead.

I didn't expect Bison to be the one of new characters in 0.3 (I thought Guile will be added in 0.3), because he and Shang Tsung are the final bosses. Can't wait!

If you've seen VGE 3 by Riggs, expect no less than that! ;)

BTW, will you use just the musics instead of songs? I'm talking about Static-X - Kill Your Idols in the Subway stage and Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit in the M2 Surviving stage.

Kill your Idols could definitely be edited into an instrumental like it was in M2 Surviving. As for Breaking the Habit, there's an instrumental version already we could get. I don't see why not. :)
