But if someone skipped CS...they got Makoto, Valk, Platinum and Relius, Tsubaki, Hazama and Mu and new story mode for a pretty good price.A small note about one of the videos:Bang's DP+B doesn't wall bounce anymore. Other than that, Steel Rain is now a charged move, which is kinda cool.
May I ask a legitimate question without being labeled a troll? Seriously, I'm not trying to be, this is just to appease my curiosity:What's the difference between Capcom doing these type of re-releases every year (that could've potentially been replaced with simple DLC) and Arc System Works doing the same thing? What makes people hate the former so much, yet become so excited for the latter? (other than the lack of bug riddled releases, unfulfilled promises, etc...)For what it's worth, I bought the original SF4 for PS3 thinking I wouldn't be shafted later in this era of downloadable content. I was upset when not too long afterwards my game was essentially rendered obsolete. I haven't purchased any Blazblue game, but I've always been curious about the feelings of people who might've bough the original Calamity Trigger.
S.D. said, August 09, 2012, 02:05:21 amToo bad he's not DLC.Don't remind me. The fact that people had to pay $45 for a ton of nerfs, a new character and story we've alre-My bad, I sound like a broken record.Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyHowever, I get how CS2 was able to be its own thing within CS, yet Extend (which is just CS2 with one more character) needed its own disc. ASW knew fully well that they could've made easy money by making both CS(2) and Extend playable between each other, but Extend's extra content was extra incentive. All the content was aleady on it. It was all "free."It was easy money to attract all those attracted by bonuses rather than a mere update.Needless to say, they made much less money that way. Had they made Relius as DLC for CS and thus CS2 v1.10A an update, alongside cross game play for all those with Extend, they would have made roughly double the amount of money over Extend's sales alone, purely from $8 DLC. From a marketing standpoint, it would've guaranteed BlazBlue's success and overall life extension without Mori having several Japan-only manga finance future projects.Graphicus said, August 09, 2012, 02:10:16 amMay I ask a legitimate question without being labeled a troll? What makes people hate the former so much, yet become so excited for the latter? (other than the lack of bug riddled releases, unfulfilled promises, etc...)See, since this is BlazBlue, this only applies to Extend as it could've been not mandatory. CT, CS and CP are all drastically different games if only because of the system. They're not so much re-releases as they are separate games. Extend is the only legitimate re-release of the bunch. If by Arc, you mean Guilty Gear as well, that was during the time where patches weren't a thing for consoles outside of AC+ Append Edition. AC+R changed many, many things from AC+ to warrant it as a sequel, including competitively viable versions of Kliff and Justice.
This is a Sequel not a revision and Continuum Shift was a Sequel to Calamity Trigger so why would people who bought the original CT be mad people who bought CS should be made about Extend which they are.Arc system gets the same shit as Capcom but since there not as big as Capcom you don't see it as much but it's still there.Damn it Ninja'd
That and outside of palettes or characters for CS2, all DLC was unlockable ingame. Such as voices, unlimited mode etc.
MC2 said, August 08, 2012, 08:47:02 pmWhy are these fags not picking Relius. Why are these other fags not releasing Relius's artwork. Fags everywhere. Fags.On the contrary, you should be happy about the lack of Relius players.Less Relius players = Less people knowing how to deal with Relius = Getting away with stupid shit more often.Lack of Valk players in CS2 has been the main reason why I've been able to run Wolfless Valkenhayn so well for so long.
Mori left a tidbit about one new piece of BGM. In BBCP, when Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan is used, a new song sung by Tsuyoshi Koyama (Bang's JP VA) will play. https://twitter.com/zatuyoP/status/233215470763921409QuoteBBCPでバングの風林火山を発動した時小山の兄貴の新曲が流れます!熱い曲なので、機会があればお聞きください! #blazblue

Mgbenz said, August 09, 2012, 04:33:11 pmWould anyone even buy those Engrish voices other than for the lolz?Well in the original CS the default announcer was this really shrill sounding.....child of indeterminable gender. A lot of people didn't like it, so they were voiced to buy a new one. Evil genius marketing.
i havent bought a blazblue game yet, what do you recommend, waiting for this game since it has 3 more characters (at least) or getting one of the older versions - which would be the most current one on ps3? -
