Hello, Well this time I will post the Brian Battler I'm working on this last month, I had finished but didn't found the opportunity to release it. Finally I leave here this brian I hope like you  :sugoi:

His fighting style is based on the 98UM
With combination of gameplay, as is the Kof2002UM, by movecancels and HSDM, and KofXI, Super & Dream Cancels, the sparks and sounds.

Well you know if you have any bug or something they wanted to highlight, glad to hear-read it  ;P, in next i leave a list of credits.

Thedge for was a Tester when i started him :D

hmm...looks good, i'll try him out

btw, the fools day is called April Fools day, and it's on April 1, but i'm from Argentina too and i know today is fools day for us  :P

edit: tested him out, and he's pretty cool tough, never actually played with brain before  :P, that HSDM portrait is an edit of Maxima's one if im not wrong

but well, i really liked it, nice release  :sugoi:

...and here I was, just came back from searching for the best Brian Battler out there.

EDIT: Tried it out, pretty decent. I was amazed by one thing, though. The flickering reflection and shadow. That was rather well pulled off, friend. :D

- The readme doesn't open the images, which renders the commands unreadable.
- American Supernova DM/SDM (qcf*2+P/2P) has several problems :
     + The flickering shadows are absent during the DM, which makes Brian look like he's floating in the air when smashing the opponent to the ground.

     + You're using non standard animation at times, which can make the opponent disappear when smashed on the ground (tested on SPO Ryu by Rikard). [1]

     + When the opponent is supposed to be between both Brian's legs, he's actually behind the legs. Some sprite priority issue I guess.

- I think it's strange that during several DMs/SDMs, Brians shadow is flickering while the FX's shadow stays "solid/dark".
- Commands in the CMD have strange times. If DMs have time=30, specials, seeing their motion, should have something like time=15/20.

I'm not a Brian player at all, so I wouldn't know his basic chains, but he looks like a solid release from the few I saw. :)

1° Shadows i use shadow codes of Kof 2000 -> Up (in land the shadow is blinking but when is in air the shadow dissapear, if you reffear about P2 Shadow :S sorry i don't code for him)
2°Don't worry brian has 2 Air Files, check the Def File in there you can change de air to use with defaul players

3° The priority is correct, look like in kof.


the player is under the brian but the gethit is change & is very hard to found a right linked sprite & aling him, for example maybe i can use the 5031,40 & I can aling to brian hand but some chars don't have the heigt to apreciate this throw & the gethit change for that y use that gethit

4° About time of commands... i check in kof that move wit realice hcf take 28 tics & multipletap has a 3 tic buffer but no duration buffer... i mean that need 3 tics to activate, for that i use 30 tics for "long" commands, but you talk about chain moves of brian.... well maybe i can reduce this time because i use a var tu set the cange move, but the time in this move ins't important because not affect other moves & in 30 ticks you can make this change when you are in the chaning but really you have around 27 to realice this move.. so I can not see importance.... no movement is affected by these commands.

1° yes you right, i missunderstand  :S, look here i miss Statetype :S i don't know why i change to Air type & i didn't change to Stand type... i have to update that :D Thanks!
