....Thanks guys some stuff that i see in this forum is very cool, Balthazar, Iced, Diepod or another can give me more tips for drawing in Z2 style will be great i have a good skills for spriting and ever take the time for get a good quality and more about a DBZ character am very fan of this and more of Legendary Super Saiyan....!
Heya! Glad to see you trying out something new. Remember to be patient with yourself, Rome wasnt built in a day. Learning animation and spriting requires a bit of patience and a lot of discipline. You already showed off that you are open to criticism so im sure you will grow into a really nice spriter. Do you have more sprite samples and stuff you have done in the past you can show off?
amazing effort. but you gave him hands that are too big for his body, especially his right shoulder.make his body more muscular or redraw his hands.
Ok i have the patience for do a good quality with the edits, already work in some characters my first one was steel in scruffy dragon and help to finish others like sinestro, ultron and working to release eradicator, soon am finish my personal mugen page for show samples and works.I gonna fix the proportion of body its true maybe the hands can work better with bit more size.thanks for wishes I will continue show more sprites and animations.....and sorry for my english i use the translator.....!
Hey! Not a bad shot at the style at all, I am curious to see more from you in the near future. As for the Broly sprite, the colors are actually picked quite nicely, and the shading is good too.I think the main thing to point out with this sprite is that, it seems based off a Budokai screenshot, right? Which is a 3d game.I can tell mostly (if that's even the case) by his (viewer's) left foot and hand; they are a bunch smaller then his (viewer's) right arm and leg, since they would be closer to the camera. So you have a bit too much perspective in the sprite.Very good try though, now I'm curious to see something animated (if just a rough animation).

Glad you liked man am very fan of your work and style Balthazar....its true i draw from a screesave of DB Budokai and think too can be work more in 2d perspective maybe can guide me for correct way to development the character....Am gonna to draw a animation for show more....and for tips too....Armentis draw a good sprites of Broly too and i tell him maybe can join forces....he edit this for me like a tip whats think guys...??
Ok I'm not gonna lie, I think your version looks WAY better. The colors, the creases in the clothing, the shading the overall proportions...yours were all way better. The only thing I would concider an improvement is perhaps the muscles on his stomach and chest (though the pecks on Armentis's sprite are too...female).Maybe later I will revamp your Broly sprite with the muscles how I'd draw them. But other then that, no offense to Armentis, his 'edit' is a definite downgrade over the work you did.
Well, you can also post how you made a few of them in order for BizarroToro to get an idea of your style for Broly (he probably saw those already, but jus tin case) :
Tbh those are all hella old and he shouldn't be using those as a reference . Like, AT ALL.The first, Diepod Broly is still awesome, but it's not in Z2 style.PS. You forgot the one sprite that comes closest to how I would do it (it's the most recent one I did. It's also traced over a drawing by Diepod by the way, because that's the one TRUE way I would do Broly):In terms of size and proportions, this is really how I would do him.
it would need to be reduced by a bit i think about 20 percent less maybe, if he was to stand under the lifebars.
Hehehehe yeah I never tested with a fake shot, he would indeed probably be covered by the lifebars with that current size...But I want him to be that big! Well I guess that settles it, we won't be doing a Broly
Oh don't take it too serious please, it was mostly a joke Broly would be awesome, even if he comes out a little smaller then I initially wanted.
seriously,Broly looks like he can be quite the challenge to pull off sprite wise, coding wise I would like for him to be the grappler of the Z2 game, but not as slow as they make him in every dbz game
I imagined a z2 Broly more like a boss fight type of char, with no hurt animations, hyper armor.Like Onslaught lvl 1 from MvcCool looking sprite btw
Thanks Daeron, in this way its better keep the same draw original base…I study the Balthazar and Z2 draw method style for understand more and I find with this way got a good quality with a quick way for many sprites (I know how tiring it is to edit the knowledge that many will come to come) Coding resize I don’t like it but is a alternative or mugen zoom too…!The size is the correct because before start the draw I test in a stage and the lifebar touch him a bit and I use this for reference….
Ok well as long as a lifebar doesn't cover his face when he's standing Since he is so large, I would make his nipples circles, not just 1 pixel dots (kinda like the scale-chart image of Broly you have here) and maybe move them both outwards just a tiny bit. Good work on the reworked abs and recolor.
How about having the proportions like this? Sorry -fast copy paste move around edit to show what I mean
I think these proportions can work.... fix the arms, legs, face, waist clothes, close to ultimate sprite Z2 style....
I would love to see his movie transformation into this. Very interesting, will be following this one for sure. Good luck man.

Thanks guys... soon i will show a animation....too i need become familiar with the style entering to mini training for do more Z2 sprites...thanks....HQ your aport its very helpfully...!!!
My thoughts.I feel like the abdomen muscles need to be a bit wider from your most recent rendition. I think his right arm muscles are a bit too bulbous and look larger than his left arm. Finally, I feel the folds in his clothing don't match other Z2 characters. If you look at the other Z2 characters and the example Broly sprite endorsed by Balthazaar, the folds aren't quite as round and puffy as they are in your Broly's pants. I also feel like his red kilt's fold lines are a bit too long and heavy. It almost gives a plastic feel because it's so defined. Z2 folds seem to be a bit sharper yet less heavy than the clothing in your sprite. I hope this makes sense. Sometimes when you're scrutinizing small details, it can be hard to describe.Anyway, the sprite looks really great so far. There just seems to be a some more fixes that can be made to the muscles and clothing that could make the sprite mimic the Z2 style a little closer.
BizarroToro said, November 14, 2014, 04:29:49 pm.....I think am more close of Z2 style..[/URL]There's some improvement, but you really should take a look at the corrections I made on the old edit - pose, arms, leg positions,etc...:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyAlso for a stance Rugal's works really good (as also seen on Roken's magnificent Brolly) --> Proof: http://youtu.be/JnPbMzYgHZE?t=2m7salso a fast walk edit from SuperSonic Warriors with copy paste - yeah needs major work, especially head movement! I added two frames to the original 6, but it could be an easy base seeing how you could resize some movements from SuperSonic Warriors to 220% & then after that the legs to 110%
I'd go with a different pose tbh, for reasons I'd care not to say. :XAlso The pants and his robe still don't fit with the Z2 style imo.
