After I finish the ones I'm working on.

Question for Gambit: Was thinking of making Air Kinectic Card able to explode on the ground after a while and cause a hit of course. Example:




Is it too much? His projectile is already pretty fast to begin with(slowed down for the update). Don't want to give him too much of an advantage.

If he remained floating for a while like Ken's air Hadouken in MvC2, it'd be a bit more fair since he's left open unless you set it up during oki or something.

That FX in Gambit is looking cool, and I like that idea u mentioned, it could work. Good luck on the updates :)

I've finished Final Justice. Decided to make it a Level 2. Cap and Ruby are damn near done and I may release public betas. Images:









(As you can see, I took some liberties with the ending piledriver. FX subject to change)

For the Lvl 3. I want to do a super like kyosuke's final symphony remix with winter soldier and the falcon.

I'd like the winter soldier sprites to be based off of this sprite from camo3:



I'll post a base anim in a while. Anyone interested in taking up the task, send me a PM or post here. We can discuss requirements/compensation through PMs.

Ah... I was looking forward to that custom shield throwing super you had in store for Cap.... But a team up super works too though. Still got two spots reserved in my roster for Ruby and Cap. ;) Looking good mang.

Been a long time since I posted in this thread. I've been busy with RL stuff, and coding Leo and Captain America for Seanaltly's CvtW game, on top of my secret full game(more info at a later date). Here's something to get me interested in my old WIPs again: Captain America Beta:






I'm changing my entire system in my chars. After I update the chars I was going to and after Ruby, my old chars won't be updated anymore(unless I change them over to my new system). This is still my old system. No MAX Level move yet. Still a lil mess in the sff, but no big deal.

Very solid man! Very good indeed. My only gripes are....

-Voices are a bit loud. I don't have a problem with any voice you pick, I'm not that picky/fickle. ;P Like his MvC3 voice just as much as his other/older one. It's just they're kinda abrasive with the loudness.
-LP Shield Slash doesn't otg. Though, I'd assume that was your intent. It's just with how he feels so MvC3 like, I keep trying to OTG p2 after an air combo, but it doesn't work. >_< Which is fine if that's your intent.
-I can't seem to negative edge/super cancel from Shield Slash. But I can from Stars n' Stripes and Charging Star. Don't know if that's intended or not. If so, then nevermind.

Loving his feel very much. It's good to hear from you and see you've been able to fit in some stuff with a busy schedule and all. Looking forward to the finished product, well done. :) Any chance for a Ruby beta....? :3

Looking at some creators (mainly Infinite) release a char every month made me realize I haven't released a new character since 2011 not counting updates. I need to get back in the game. I'll do a Ruby Beta, but she still has a lot of work before a public release.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that he can jump cancel out of air combos (in the mid of an air combo, you can jump again to continue the combo). And forgot to upload this beta with the fixed double jump. Sometimes, you can't double jump forward when descending.

-Yeah, I figured as much. I'm not suggesting you make it otg if it wasn't you're intent. It's just that mindset y'know? Cap's always been one of my all time fave heroes. He can really go in on MvC3 and your Cap has a very good feel to him just like the MvC3 incarnation. I just gotta get out the habit of trying to otg p2 after air combos/trips. >_<

No problem at all man. It's good to hear from you. I've been waiting patiently on Cap and Ruby. Thanks for the beta release to tide us over lol. Man...Infinite is the man lol. I always tell him that he's one of the most efficient contributors for MUGEN ever. He sets his mind/sights on a char and just goes in lol. It's really cool that we can all inspire one another to bring new/more things to the table though. I'll be looking forward to Ruby's beta and thanks for the double jump tip with Cap.

I like a lot what you did with the shield while graving him instead of having it floating awkwardly it pops out and comes back nicely, well done, as for your very very old projects such as Kain Blade or Goat etc... are there any news about them? those were actually older than ruby or cap, any news about releasing those characters sometime soon? or is it just something your not interested anymore?

Regarding this, are you still keeping the your old combo system similar to the MvC series or going into a more CvS-ish system?? still keeping or considering your current FX for your new system?? I like your MvC-ish combo system cause it gives an unique feel to your character but whatever decision you take, is going to be great to me (except if you use hyper portraits :P).

Will test the good ole Cap.

A couple more things...

-If Final Justice is parried, Cap will still go into the anims of it like he caught p2 with it. Gonna need like a NumTarget trigger for it.
-Shield Slash return trip seems to give too little hitstun for p2 imo. More times than not p2 guards any followup I try to do when mixing them up with Shield Slash's return trip.
