I ordered the game YS: The Oath in Felghana. After some time, yeah long time . I got it and as i wanted to install it this error occured:Can anyone say me, how i can install it?I even downloaded already the translation patch, i would be thankful if you could help me.
Start by installing Japanese fonts and switching to it for the install, and then we (well, probably only I or possible one or two other people here) will be able to tell you what the error message says.
On Google... And you might need to switch your system to Japanese - at least just long enough to install the thing or to get a better shot of this message. Config panel, language & regional settings, advanced settings -> non unicode programs set to Japanese, and reboot. (you'll just have to put it back to your original language afterward and reboot again, no worry) Doing that might require you to insert your Windows CD I think, unless it's already installed.(... obviously I'm assuming this is an imported Japanese game, I have no idea what game it is)

Basically, it says that it already found a folder in your C drive named Falcom, and asks you if you want to install the game there. Then it asks you if you want to overwrite the files.I can't read some of the kanjis on the last picture, so I don't know exactly what happens on the last message.

I presume it skips screens 3 and 4 that say it found existing folders with the same name. Since the last error is really not specific about why it failed, I can't see what else there could be - hopefully you are aware you need 1.3 Gigs free to install it (says so in the second screen). I dunno, try looking for people who already installed the game ? Some forum or whatever dedicated to the game, the company, the author, at least a search on Google for discussions about it ?
ok, by the way, i have 500 GB of harddrive space, and there's 79% space to be filled.Yay! I've got it and that happened randomly so thank you for your help aaaaaaand cut
Try installing to a directory that doesn't contain spaces (including the subdirectories) that you yourself have already created (don't rely on installer to create directory).
