Can I Edit Characters I Download?

Im new to Mugen, just downloaded some kingdom hearts and naruto characters, a lot of them are unfinished or missing pictures and what not.

Can I add pictures/moves/sounds, i hate having a Sora with one attack =/.

And any suggestions on a site with a lot of characters, like street fighter and mortal combat? Or completed naruto and kingdom hearts ones?

Yea you can, but your new so i doubt you would understand..

you can request a character in the request section..

as long as You don't try to make public your edits unless you have the creator's Permission yeah you can, but as Shin'ichi Kudo said, Maybe You Couldn't understand it too well to do that...

Clic on the Sign, then on The flags (U.S. 4 English talkers & MX 4 Spanish Talkers), then go to "Descargas/Downloads" And You're in the Downloads Section

Im not being misleading, i want to know how to edit characters, as I have a lot that just need more attacks, sounds, or pictures.

Whats the best program for this?

I usually don´t do re-edit of other creators characters without asking permission. Since I got then I can edit some characters and use on future wips. Like updating Buttercup by SSonic and also Bubbles by Robson 7. I also got a new permission for usage which I´ll show up later^^

Use Fighter Factory or MCM.

Fighter Factory is best if you learn how to use it, as for the other stuff as adding specials etc i think you need to be a bit more advanced.

Let me make this clear for you.  You don't have to ask permission to release modifications to the public.  Some people might post on this board that it's "wrong" or this and that, but we don't have rules nor do we enforce "creator's rights".

True, Yet I said That because I suffered that sin myself long ago... that's why I do suggest him to ask permission before releasing his changes, heck, You should see Poncho's New Package to see what I think about Modifications...
