I actually had this problem a few months back on my iPhone.The problem magically cured itself after a few weeks.

have you tried clicking 'log out' on the main page because that worked. doing it through the 'profile' tab gave me that error but doing it through the main page worked fine
Yeah did that Coolest and Morph suggested but no success... and I should mention that this started happening when I was looking at some PMs then tried to log out. Ever since that it's been like this.
