Megaman: No. Sorry, but I honestly don't want that to happen. I don't know if I can give a good reason, but I really don't think that nintendo can provide that feel that megaman games are known for. Unless there's someone who really knows the feel of the games, I just can't see that.

Strider: That may work actually.

Rival Schools: Does nintendo even have fighting game ips? I really don't see that otherwise.

Final Fight: Doesn't really fit imo.

In the same SF2 also feels some kind of the seriousness.
Yes, their moves are impossible, graphics not MK and sometimes chars looks like fools. (Dhalsim...)
But this series was serious and characters was serous as on look (generic, but serious), as in moves and fight itself.

I agree that Megaman has seriously been neglected, and I agree that nintendo will do something about it, but if what they do will involve the same treatment with the New Super Mario games, not including SM3DW, then I don't want to see that see that happen.

I can kinda see where you're coming from, but I agree with Sage. Then again, Mortal Kombat did do.....

Back to the topic in hand, with the graphics Nintendo does with space, i.e. Super Mario Galaxy, I feel Strider could be right at home. Not so sure about Mega-Man.

I can see Megaman doing very well in Nintendo. For all the dislike that people have for Nintendo and milking franchises, they do still understand the technical side of gameplay!

For every Mario, Kirby and Yoshi Sidescroller game, they all have unique functions of how new abilities unlock new content of the game.
Megaman with nice updated look (similar to smash model, if not that model) and his weapons changing how you can unlock secrets by returning to old stages... fuck, I'm getting Megaman X3 vibes.

Yes, Ed Boon failed before.
But I talk about NetherRealm- MK9 and after. They stil don;t failed. Even their new chars, anounced in MKX not make me angry!
But they CAN make for new SF really flashy and spectacular gameplay, as they did in "Injustice".
