Hey Guys,
                Just Wanted to drop by & Say 1st To  Hyōgo™ ,sorry that your thread turned into what it turned into & thats mostly my fault, my bad, wont happen again, i went thru & deleted all of my post that were inflammatory,all though u can still see them in quotes  :laugh: & Just wanted to say sorry to all of the other regulars of the Guild,This is your House,not mine, im just a visitor ,it was wrong and stupid & rather Childish that a mild disagreement, mainly between me & Jmorphman turned into all of that , Sorry J, my bad. there was one thing that Laharl said that was a 100% true, i dont act like this over on MFFA, the reason why i was made a mod, was because i earned it , for pretty much being one of the more kinder people ,always helpful & in a way,Modding before i was made 1, & thats the way id rather be thought of,than an douche So in conclusion  Jmoprhman,Ice,Titlin & Hyōgo™ ,sorry Take care guys  :lugoi:

Just like no man or woman should be forced to live in an unhappy marriage out of fear of ruining his offspring's childhood (my mother did this for a long while; It's a bad choice), no man or woman should be forced to live an unhappy life out of fear of leaving his close family and friends depressed.

Just to put it out there, there was this one dude (a family friend) that attempted to commit suicide. Without going into detail, his life was far worse than anything I've ever heard of for someone living in the USA, and he decided he was going to kill himself. He decided he was going to go the classic route of jumping off a bridge, so he drove out to the bridge, prepared himself mentally, and leapt. As he was falling, and before he hit the water, he suddenly thought, "I don't want to die." Miraculously, he survived his fall (he of course was hospitalized), and he told us that, no matter how bad his life was or how terrible his situation was, he would rather live wih it than take his life. Of course after that, he cleaned up his act big time, so in a way it was as if he was reborn.

I'm not arguing that people shouldn't be allowed to commit suicide, I'm just pointing out that it's possible these people probably don't realize the implications of suicide until it's too late, and if you know they're considering it,you should definitely try to help them.

Suicide acts are generally not rational acts people think about and start preparing before going to bed for a nice sleep and jumping off a bridge the next day.
It's very often a desperation act you do all of a sudden, without thinking much, either because you really want to kill yourself at a given time, either as a way to alert people you need help and some kind of attention.

People who commit suicide DO think about it before they do it. To a split second to a long time. They are rational thoughts. I mean to commit suicide all of a sudden you would need a weapon for most suicides, and for a split second they DO think about using the weapon for suicide. Even for a split second thought, it's pretty rational. They know it's wrong. And for planning to jump off a bridge the next day, yes, they do think about it before they do it. For example, take San Francisco, there are TONS of suicides that happen on the golden gate bridge. There are so many suicides that  there is literally a crisis counseling phone near the bridge's walkway. (Seriously, I have been there, there actually is one there and a few others as well) In order to jump off the bridge you need to call a taxi, drive there and then leap over which all takes thought and planning.

It's not even a view on suicide or an opinion (unless you're commenting on my last post which was jut a joke and should be disregarded).

Suicide IS very often a desperation act. You usually (emphasis on "usually") don't plan it many days in advance, you're not preparing a wedding and you do not need a sort of plan and agenda to commit suicide. You can indeed think about suicide several times, at various periods, but the act of committing suicide itself (thinking about it and actually do it) is something that happens very fast.

You probably don't have a girlfriend who studied psychology for 5 years (even though that's not her field anymore) nor do you know several people who attempted to commit suicide.

You guys haven't even met a person(s) with mental illness in real life have you guys? Reading/studing about mental illnesses in a college text book, reading about it online, watching movies; TV or the news, or playing the Dead Rising games that have what they call "Psychopath" bosses is NO WHERE close to experiencing it in real life from other people or yourself. Jango's post was one of the best I've seen in this thread. And trust me you DON'T want to experience a mental illness or meet a psychopath or sociopath. If you guys ever met a real one and experienced this, this is absolutlely no laughing matter at all.

I really wish I wasn't. What I've gone through is insane. It's very hard to truley describe a mental illness of craziness etc. The people that have the mental illness act inhuman for psychopath and sociopaths and if I try to describe it it won't make sense to a normal person unless they have fully experienced things like this many times in real life. I've fully read college textbooks about mental illness but there is much more to it that they can't tell you in words.
