Alucard, Richter, Simon, Skeletons, and Axelords are obscure? What series have you been playing man?

It isn't as bad as 64...that was the lowest of blows..but you seem to have more of a personal beef with the game and/or who released it rather then any actual input on the gameplay itself. Not trying to be a smartass..I'm just saying.

Ah. Legacy of Darkness! Cornell (The werewolf) is going to be in Castlevania Judgment by the way.

Well Richter and Alucard can be played in a multitude of games and one of the Axelords can be played as in SotN. So that really only leaves the Skeletons and from one of your earlier post Hugh. But yeah my beef kind of comes from both the game and the creator for going as low as hijacking people's browsers just to deter them from downloading her game. Also, seeing how I pretty much own all but two Castlevania games spanning all consoles I rather play through those and enjoy the games the way they were meant to be played.

Huh, I had no idea. I haven't really kept up on the news of that game. I'm starting to slip up at my old age.

THIS.
My main issue with this fucking thread (And people trying to reverse-engineer the buil just to fuck up with the development of the game, and don't get me started on how some clear troll accounts are still there, like Curvy Toys's)

It's good to see people commenting on the actual fucking release like you are, Michael David Ivanoff (Note to everyone else: Make the goddamn announcement count for something)

Really, after watching the videos this is nothing more than the time attack mode on the GBA versions of Castlevania.
Uh....no? I'd love to point out how wrong you are and insult you, but it's not worth it, clearly you haven't played enough those games to note the differences.
And I don't even want to touch your second reply, it's just plain pathetic.
OH WAIT:
I rather play through those and enjoy the games the way they were meant to be played.
What are you doing in a Mugen board again?

I agree with hank on the fact that it feels like Time attack mode. Although i dont see that bit as a bad thing.
I liked the release a lot.
the olrox bit not only reminded me of his symphony of the night intro but also its reminiscent of the Dracula X:chi no rondo, boss intro's.
still no need to get aggressive on to other people for having their own opinions

Well to touch on your first failed attempt to insult me. Yes I have played the games inside and out and I know almost every nuance to each game. Also converting Castlevania to a fighting game, well that was epic fail on your friend's part. Castlevania is a platformer plain and simple, and also has no reason to be made into a fighting game. You're just butt-hurt because being didn't like it or the fact that your little friend Sion decided to be a retard and jack people's browsers. Deal with it.

Ah and now we get to the old stand by of people desperate to win an argument. "Why are you on a MUGEN board?" Well I play mugen, I make stages for MUGEN, and I convert MP3s to ADX and loop them for MUGEN. Why are you here? I mean other than to try and stroke your e-peen like the egotistical fuck you are?

Tone it down please and thank you. You've made your comments on the release. There is no need on anyone's part right now to post anything sarcastic or insulting.

just to note something, shin

you just can't expect people to keep getting personal issues with your friend after messing with their PCs...it's natural...

and like cyanide said, its immature, and really, for me, its even worse than that...

there are faaar other ways to kept a release out of certain community, but messing up innocent users just because you have an argument with some people of the board...is just plain shitty...

on topic about the game...

like i said...meh :P

not much hype about it, just a mere "good" for it...

its not bad, thats good enough...

good animation, good sprites...

I never said I approved of the redirecting issue, nor about people disliking the game (That is, if they have good arguments, not some made up bullshit attempt of an argument, like I've seen in this thread)

I agree with hank on the fact that it feels like Time attack mode.
I never said it wasn't.
But for fuck's sake, you're on the IRC channel, you've seen everyone's comments on how this is very well done, isn't just copying and pasting the characters from their source games, some are actually improved, diffferent moves, faster attacks, some are slightly downgraded (Abaddon), etc.

Also this is a DEMO, and yet it has accomplished far more than 90% of the announced projects in the WIP section of this forum.

Well to touch on your first failed attempt to insult me.
I stopped reading after that... looks like someone eithr fails at reading comprehension or is trying too hard to read bewteen the lines.
Or maybe he's a plain retard.

also meant to piss off users from this forum...and the creator doing those things for this forum specially, it was expected to carry the same bias towards it...

the quality of the game is getting shadowed by its creator...

I also acknowledge it isn't complete.
I also know a lot of work was involved, you dont seem to be following. I said it resembles it.
Still I believe ITS A GREAT IDEA (but its a personal opinion my friend)
no need to get agitated

Nothing new to the community, not that I disagree with you though.
And yet back then people learned to look past that (See Sunboy's releases)

if only the people releasing stuff learned that the ones looking bad its themselves...

c'mon, sprite theft is not as bad as it was in the past, now copy creations are swiftly classified as shitty and got deleted from communities, the copy releases get out of the mainstream communities fast, not like before that they could be in place for longer...

is more a white elephant now...there seems to be more panic at thievery than the actual quantity of thievery we can see...

Holy Crap!

Guys, I honestly didn't know a thing or two about this being such a big deal to Serio or some of you here. I never even read the readme included with the download. ;P

Now that I've seen how damaging this has been, I suggest this thread be removed, locked or something, but it's clearly not going the way I thought it would.

To Serio, if you can read this I'm sorry. I never guessed you were so appaled with the mugen community in the first place....but then again, why did you use Mugen? Your work is masterful, and I for one, a member of this community and alltime fan of CastleVania enjoy it very much, but I also feel sketchy about your way of treatment to all of us here. Remember if you bite first, they will bite back...and that applies to every forum out there so it's not any novelty.

Anyways, I'll let the mods do what they please with this, but I must say it's a real shame to see some of you treat each other like you did over this...and KFM got banned?!?!?!!

I'm shocked and appaled now.

I just hope my computer isn't fucked up over this garbage.

Although, this has made me remember why I started hating anything to do with mugen and quit bothering with this crap. Go figure, Hm.

no confusion at all...

as history has told us before, the fanbase is not the only ones throwing crap all the time, and this little incident, makes us remember that...
