Is finally here!!!  ;D
Legion /Granfaloon from "Castlevania Symphony of the night"
Is been a while since I posted something, but I don't think I'm out of practice. :wink3:
Well, i'll explain my creation:

Legion is a recurring boss in Castlevania games. The general design is a floating sphere composed of numerous humanoid bodies that acts as a shell for his real form.

You must destroy all the bodies in the first round; after that you fight with his real form. The gameplay in the first round is accurate to Castlevania SOTN version, in the second round the game play is Original to give more challenge to battle. Hope you like it.

FEATURES:
*-Include his own stage (is only for WinMugen.)
*-The first battle is accurate to Castlevania SOTN.
*.-The second battle is original game play for make it more fun & less predictable.
*-The winner screen is from Castlevania Rondo of Blood from PC Engine.
*.-The GAME OVER screen is from Castlevania SOTN.
*._THERE IS A SECRET SIMILAR TO THE "OUTER WALL" STAGE IN THE SOURCE GAME.  :innocent:
*.-Include his own BGM coded in the char for prevent crashes in win7 caused for the plugins in Winmugen. (error inherent in Winmugen with win7) :disappointed:
*-You can climb the platforms on the stage if you char can reach it. (not all the chars can climb, due to its programming, but its not nesesary for beat him). ;P

Well, I hope the report bugs are numerous to share with you a polished Mugen Version 1.1
By the way, i like too much see videos in youtube with my crations being defeated. Please, grant me that whim. :sweetheart:
Well, thats all for now, in the next weeks i upload my next chars, see you soon. ;)

Very nice, a screen of this caught my eye recently.  I'm assuming there is no way to have him huge in 1.0 though b/c the feature was disabled?
This is how you recognize a character is polished or not : when small details are taken care of to provide the best experience possible.

This is very awesome and creative. I'm not a fan of too many things, but Castlevania is a series I love to death. Just got through testing it out, and it's very well done. I have a few things to ask/report though...

-Debug flood like CRAZY with Legion...

-Why is it that we can't use our on music? Because it will crash in Windows 7 OS with the Winmugen plugins? I use XP myself. Would it be possible to add an option of turning off his included BGM? I ask this, because I know it's from the source game and all, but I wanted to use this track personally...

It'd be nice if you could give that option. If not, it's cool either way. Very nice char, loads of fun.

Might sound dumb to ask, how did you make the char didn't get sunk into the stage?

It's the stage, not the character, that changes the sizes.  Winmugen allows for stages to be scaled, so characters appear smaller.  It's a parameter called botz scaling that is no longer supported in 1.0.  I don't think there is a way to replicate this effect in 1.0, so you have to wait till 1.1 when zoom comes out.
This is how you recognize a character is polished or not : when small details are taken care of to provide the best experience possible.

Hurry up 1.1!  I want to try this, but can't (not going to revert back to winmugen)...kinda annoying that Mugen 1.0 doesn't support features that Winmugen has.  Either way, from the videos Legion looks like it came out great.

I don't see what's the problem with that?

Annoying ads for one. Though, the main reason is forced registration in order to DL from them. Majority of people don't like having to register to a site, just to DL something. Which, I don't blame them. I avoid it myself. I just happen to have a 4 shared account from way back. I suggest MediaFire or Sendspace overall. Though, w/e someone wants to do is up to them and fine by me.

I do agree with that too but, if he still uploads his stuff via 4shared then we have no choice but deal with it.

So much epicness! Nice work, Omega! Divine's bgm choice would be nice as well, but yours is just fine.

Do your best to become stronger. Become stronger, so you can do your best.

Mugen is a way for me to remain nostalgic with all of the dream matches I cooked up as a kid. It's also what I call a "Digital Action Figure Collection."

I certainly have a new final boss for my Mugen.

Your return topic (the project topic for this) may just have been my favorite post on this forum to date.  Keep rockin it!

Here's a way to kinda at least make it look better( Thanx to Cruz-Ko Excahm for showing me this)

Go into the Stage Def File & Change the Zoffset to 210  & This is the Result

For anyone experiencing the "players sunk into the floor" issue, here is a conversion of the stage to 1.0 I did.  The stage graphics are scaled up to proportion with Legion as he is in the winmugen version, so as not to affect the game play / strategy / platform placement. Zoffset is raised and screenbounds are extended to include the entire stage's graphics.  Just drop Legion in the stage as is, and everything should work fine.  Enjoy! :2thumbsup:

There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.
