I am currently working on making Cats from Zero Wing
more widely known as the 'All of your base' guy.

Here is my first model


I want to know if I need to fix anything.

Cats doesn't exsist from the shoulders down, so all of the work is made from scratch.

He doesn't have feet.
Under the cloak, he is pretty much just a mass of wires.
Most of his attacks will involve whipping the opponent with tentacle like wires.

Right, I can see it now, but before it seemed to me like he was wearing boots. I really like what you've done with the face it's even darker and gloomier than the original, but you should try to make the wires/robotic part more machine-like, metallic.

All of my ideas were actually influenced by screen shots.
To make the sprite, I used the shot that I felt was the most Mugen worthy.

In this shot he seems wider than he is in his entrance

This is his entrance


But I will try to make him a tad thinner, if I can do so without messing him up.

You really shouldn't save a sprite as a JPEG, it ruins the quality.

As for the bad quality image,
It wasn't very good in the screenshot either.
It was a distance shot.

His colors are way too washed out, change 'em up.
Also JPG is a terrible idea.

The sprites are on my computer saved as bmp
I don't plan on using jpg, because as you said

Its best to save as a PNG, the quality is the same as bmp and can be uploaded.

Make the contrast on your sprite closer to that in the lazuah picture.

But he isn't even wearing a hat...

Overall this character is proving difficult.
I've been looking in to the Igniz suggestion, and I have also been looking at Eddie(GG) for some attack ideas.

All-in-all, difficult.
