darkmater's shark jaw thing is awesome

also there's different small portraits depending on whether you do vs, arcade and team so it might be good to look into that too

this makes me feel guilty about sleeping on ripping the rest of giena's stuff now lol

either way thanks for the hard work in getting this stuff ripped (as it is VERY hard)

darkmater's shark jaw thing is awesome
Yeah I like that move too, looks awesome. The Game has some nice Sprites.
But still find the names quite strange. I always want to call Darkmater - Darkmaster and Pamelra - Pamela etc

i wonder what it is with these random dos fighters and having really impressive special move effects, that one move of yun's is pretty damn cool

also this probably isn't really the thread for it but while i'm here, i might have ripped almost everything for giena i could, maybe you could look them over and see if there's a way to organize/clean em better?

hah, that's one of the most brutal loss animations i've seen. really cool final boss design overall

(also got more giena sprites so pm'ing you now)

Somehow I even got to preform his one Special Move wich normaly crashes the Game. Somehow I could rip all frames of the Move this time.

Damn it's been YEARS since I've actually seen Jin! So many memories... Mugen could use characters like these as opposed to seeing multiple remakes of the same characters over and over... I'd love to see this guy in J Morphman's, Devine wolf's, or Infinite's style.  That'd be pretty cool...

Flashy graffix on really old sprites like these....My eyes are already begging for the sweet release that only a good direct splash of ammonia can provide.

Anyways Darkmater has some really cool animations.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

Everyone's entitled to there own opinion... lol But seriously, accuracy ain't always a good thing... Why not spice it up a bit? It would be ok if we were still in the early 90's when this game came out, but me personally, I like my characters to be on par with each other. It's great when a roster of characters all have the same game play style. It just feels more complete that way. But that's just me...

I can always change the shading and make him look more like a cvs style. It won't look so bad then... I have plans for this Jin. And it won't be accurate by any means. It's about to be 2013. This dude needs an update BIG TIME...!

i don't really care about accuracy since martial champions kinda sucked anyway, but i don't think 'pots-style' would be spicing him up at all, just making him more bland and cliche than anything. tis all my opinion though

this isn't the thread for this though, so i'll just go ahead and post the mutant DNA sheet my man cenobite here helped me with

i'm still surprised that you ripped a martial champion spritesheet that fast/clean though. then again i'm just used to konami games being impossible to rip from (don't think i haven't forgotten the pain you put me under, dragoon might). still don't know how masa00341 ripped sounds at all though...which is another annoying thing about these konami fighters...

Martial Champions isnt that hard to rip from (excapt some getHit/Fall frames), since there is no zoom function.
BTW I've started to rip all chars of the Game that aren't Converted yet (excapt avu, since there is a sff file for him somewhere).
Will take some days I guess, since the weapon wearing guys are time consuming to rip, since you have to rip each animation twice (with + without weapon)
