Alright, so im editing Juano16's soul ninja mk3 (Just scorpion) The things i am editing or have edited are as follows-changed his button lay out to belp -xhp - ylk - ahk - brun - zblock - c^that i am perfectly fine with- I have completely turned off the fatality part of the character to where when you get the opponent to 0 hp it just says ko like normal- I have turned off all announcers and what not that are normal in MK characters like the "scorpion wins! flawless victory" kinda thingOnly thing i need help with on this part is how the bgm stops for the announcers to talk, i can't really figure out what juano used for that feature?- I'm trying to change the sparks from blood to normal sparks.. Do i just replace them with my sparks of choice into the sff of the character? or is there more to it?-I've gotten rid of the combo counter that pops up when you perform combos in the character and all the extra little messages that appear during the match or after you win (except toasty because that's the highlight of the match for me haha)umm yeah, that covers about all that im currently stuck on and or have finished
the background music is probably an assertspecial in state -2 or state -3. I have no clue personally, but that's what I think the way you described it.Some MK characters have hitsparks that fly out and land on the ground and become pools of blood that disappear after a while. If you just replaced the sparks you'd have pools of bright lights on the floor. Look at how the blood acts. If it changes into things then it's probably a helper. Just look at the hitdefs and see what the hitsparks are. If they're commented out, then just add them back in and delete the helper/explod he used to make the blood.
hey man, I figured out the bgm thing and I found the sparks think but after i changed all of them i realized how weird it looks so i just changed it back to the blood because thats just what im used to seeing :p
