Color Separating Help

I wanna try color separating Nabeshin's Hayato and replace the sprites....
Now would I have to keep the bottom darker colors on this pallete for this to still work?

We don't know. Do they get used at all? Colour a few of them violent green and save it as a new palette that you put in the character. See if anything turns violent green.
