John Oliver remains a possibility, even with his HBO show (I could see like a single episode appearance but nothing like amount of appearances he made in the fifth season). As for Donald Glover, Harmon teased that idea that's been percolating in the fanbase that Troy and LeVar Burton would need to be rescued (possibly from pirates) in the movie. Can't wait!
oh god yes let that happen with the movie. I'm glad John oliver might come back, sad banks won't though :/ Still this show has such an amazing support cast as long as you have that core nucleus together it'll carry on without a beat. Season 5 didn't feel dragged down by the loss of troy and pearce. I can't wait for season 6
I told my roommate that when it came out, I would only watch one episode a week because I wanted it to last as long as possible, and he didn't believe me, so I'm fine with the way it will be released. Now I won't have to have a tremendous amount of self control just to prove him wrong.

Keith David!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA but yeah, these seem like the best replacements one could hope for
I totally forgot to mention this. Didn't Keith David do the Narration for the pillow fight episode? Also thought paget brewster showed up on the show too.
Yes he did, and they even had Jeff ask him if he was on The Cape!!!and also yes Paget Brewster did appear in season 5 but she'll be playing a new character though I'm sure there will be a comment about her looking familiar or something
Tbh, when I very first saw her on season 5 I thought she was jeff's ex from the first season, till I did a double take.
