This is a really odd, and very fucking annoying problem that I have. I bought a new flash drive today that has 16GB of space. Whenever I put the thing in, my laptop lags and freezes like hell. I thought that I was just my laptop being an ass, but when I put my 4GB memory flash drive in it, it does the same fucking thing! I'm gonna get a new laptop soon, but that's sometime next month, so I don't wanna have to pay to get this piece of shit laptop fixed. Sorry if I sound too bitchy, but for the last 2 days this stupid ass laptop has been frustrating me to the point of breaking something. Here's my laptop:

This thing has at least 285GB of memory and 2GB of RAM. Hope that'll help out a bit with finding the problem.

Which Windows are you using (I guess Vista)
And looking at that laptop it also looks like one of those "budget low end" laptops (no offence, but can't expect decent performance after a period of time with it)

Which AV/protection are you using.

Try in Safe Mode with everything (AV/protection) disabled and see if the same issue occurs.

Also, when plugging in normally, view the Task Manager to see what it might be doing.

Some apps if left unchecked would get overly excited over a new drive and molest it for possible media for it to add to the library (Fuck you Winamp. I love you and all but why does it insist on using the agent? Then again I've never checked the settings but this only happens every now and then for me as it's rare for me to plugin a drive while I'm using winamp; regardless, rant over :P)

Lastly but unlikely, you brought your sticks from China which has evils in it.

Let me know how you get on ;)

Line 1: I'm using Windows 7

Line 2: I'd figure that much, but I was being a cheap ass. Now I'm seriously paying for it.

Line 3: I only have Malwarebytes.

Line 4: I spend all day on safe mode today putting all of the files that I wanted to keep on the EXACT same flash drive that causes the lag, but when I tried to put it in without safe mode on, a fucking bluescreen poped up, not before a huge ass amount of freezes and lag of course.

Line 5: Here's the thing, it'll start out loading kinda slow, but then when autoplay or any other message regarding it pops up, and I click on an options, my laptop slows down and freezes. It lags and freezes so bad that I can't even get to open the task manager.

Line 6: I tried removing Real Cloud player, but my laptop still lags whenever I put a flash drive in it.

Line 7: It's a gorilla drive flash drive.

After tons of troubleshooting and scanning, I think that it's working the way that it's supposed to work, but I'm still gonna be on my toes.

Well I'm not gonna argue/clash against a Windows Tech Support :P

I'll let him take over. All my info/knowledge is purely intuition :XD:
