Mugen can't handle boundless stages, but the limit it puts on them makes them virtually boundless in an actual match (it's huge).Try the TMNT stage on my site, it was the very first stage I made and as such I messed with some of that stuff. Or find a tiled stage and extend the boundaries.Btw corner trapping is one of the fun aspects of 2D fighters.
One i had was apparently boundless. I took 2 flying characters with no limits on acceleration or time and pressed ctrl+S then made them both run in the same direction for about 5 minutes. Still no end. If it takes you longer than 5 minutes to end a match and you're going in the same direction at about 80 pixels a tick then you have little skill. Although it would make for a neat sonic the hedgehog type bonus stage.
