I am interested in creating my own sprites in high resolution. Would like to know ways to do this.Thanks

You could double the size of the original sprite and redo the shading/detail or you could double the size and then filter the sprite (I dunno what people use to filter).

I am back. just checked out inkscape but am not sure what to download for help creating my sprites. You use it....is it easy are hard to use?

use inkscape that what i'm using to make leo into hires

inkscape is vector based right? can it handle small details, since usually vector program has auto smoothing thing, which is useful for a big drawing, but a hellish curse for a small picture like sprite.

I think gimp is good, or other software that support layers, layer helps a lot when making consistent animation
