Crystal Passage (UPDATED FOR MUGEN 1.1.... WITH ZOOM OPTION!!!)

This is my first attempt at making a stage from 1.0 compatible with 1.1. I' still learning, and this was pretty easy thanks to ELECTR0, I watched his tutorial on youtube and learned a little more about this. NO ZOOM as of yet because I don't know how to do it. More stages coming soon... FEEDBACK APPRECIATED!!!

The scaling looks WAY off, since it looks like you took a stage for old mugen (which is 640x480 by default in 1.0) and didn't scale it for HD properly, resulting in the characters being bigger and the stage being upscaled. There's really no sense of depth.

I followed a tutorial by ELECTRO on youtube and tried it on a simple stage. I didn't try to 720p the stage or anything, I just added some properties and adjusted other things like he did in his videos. Should I take this down since it was done incorrectly? I'm not very good at this kind of thing, but tried because I want many 1.0 stages for 1.1 with zoom.

Few things you did wrong. For one thing all old stages already work in mugen 1.1 without the need to add anything. Only time something is needed is if you want zoom or if the old stage is poorly coded and Mugen gives you an error message. Second problem was watching the 720P tutorial & using that info to make a normal res stage, so your localcoord is set up for the 720P gimmick. In fact localcoord is not needed, but I went ahead and changed the localcoord to a normal res for you so you can see what a normal res localcoord looks like. Next problem is when you zoom you either need to change the boundlow or add more to the sprites on the bottom when it's zoomed. I went ahead and added to the sprites at the bottom for you. I suggest to watch my new zoom video to get more specific about zooming & since i'm demonstrating on a normal res stage. Last thing is I would post edits in the edits section so people don't get confused and think you made a diff version than Dissida, because not everyone reads the threads. Keep practicing and trying new things and you'll get the hang of it.

I'll try again on a harder stage like Castle from Guilty Gear. Thanks for the help, I'll look over this more carefully.
