first bug encountered: statedef 1000, or rather qcf + x, does not have a red clsn for his 'air' hit-phase. I forgot if this is true to source or not...
Also, the hard version of it, statedef 1020, qcf + z, supposedly has 3 blasts, but only 2 hit... medium has 2 hits but only 1 hits too

Yeah, to me Curfue was always the real endboss, and S.Geist was just a consolation prize.

another 'bug' where curfue's dm can easily miss if the enemy just walks back if he/she is at the edge of the screen. This can be solved without troubling the author by either extending the red clsn, or adding somemore pausetime before the move?

I don't know why you guys say he's great because he does a bad job at creating them:

- Infinite with "b" attack. Requires some timing.

- Infinite with "F,D,DF,x/a/z/x+a" attack. It's really easy, just make sure the grenade hits the opponent before he falls.

- He loses his hitboxes for a moment in his taunt, which btw is located at "a+b+c". Unless that's not his taunt, but it doesn't make sense that such thing isn't one.

- "z" attack does 318 damage, both aerial (the version that triggers in a diagonal jump) and standing. "D+a" does 224 damage. Aerial "z" attack (version in a neutral jump) does 197 damage. "D+z" does 147 damage. What are these retarded damage values for normals? I though the main fault was the damage dampner, but taking into account that the first hit of "D+a", for example, does 118 damage alone it proves that this is not because it's missing one (though he does not have one, so yeah, it's bad).  And it doesn't help that the majority have huge priorities.

- "D,B,x+a" is an EX special that spends 1000 power. That doesn't justify that it hits you for 450 damage, though. Even the non-EX versions do 230 damage if they hit close. And as you can see in an image above, the hitboxes are bigger than the laser itself by some amount.

- "D,F,x/a/z" doesn't work properly. "x" version doesn't hit at the part with the gun, it just misses. "y" version only hits once in that part, when it should hit twice. "z" version is the same, hits two times but you can clearly see in the animation that it must hit three times, as he shoots three times. Also, damage seems to be really high, since doing the "z" version hits you for 175 damage, so imagine if he was able to hit another time. Oh, and EX version hits properly, for a total of 446 damage (spends 1000 power, but still :-\).

Didn't put the CLSN ON version because it's harder to see, though you can easily see that I'm still blocking the attack at that moment.

Personally, I would rather prefer him to do a good job, rather than him releasing all of them and all of them being bad. I still have to test one more. If it's still bad, I give up on him doing a proper job at converting them.

^This is true.
However, although I've never played the source game, I felt the damage issues you pointed out were in relation to curfue's accurate source gameplay.

yeah, it kinda needs to be brought up that in terms of damage output, the asura series is pretty much clueless

also curfue is a mid-boss. in fact i'mma test that shit later on today in source

Keep in mind I've never played this game, so I won't comment anything about accuracy. But still, more than 300 damage for a normal is retarded. I'm currently testing Geist and I'm seeing the same problem with him (in fact, he nearly reaches 400 damage). And the attacks have huge priority too. Goat wasn't as bad as Geist and Curfue in this part (though he is still bad, go check my feedback in the other thread), but personally, if accuracy means that his normals are like level 1 or 2 supers, then I wonder how it was in the source game.

Also, I don't understand why their hitboxes turn blue clear when they attack. Any clue about that? It doesn't happen with Goat, but Geist and Curfue has that.

His damage output is rather ridiculous.
But there are many other "accurate damage" characters like this such as HighwayStar, who is incredibly powerful due to her source also.
