This looks great. I love it. I had the NXC one but it has horrible. He had about four attacks, his AI was incredibly cheap and overall it was just horrid.I saw your poll too. Will you be doing Krystal next?
Demon Spawn said, May 19, 2009, 04:31:13 amLooks pretty kickass. Will lightning rain from the sky as he does it? Hell Yes. Dunno if I should attempt to make custom lighting effects or edit some existing... depends on my mood, but that's one ability I had planned to be close to the NxC one. Hadoabuser said, May 19, 2009, 06:47:27 amMario throw? Its pretty much all i c with that animation Oh yeah, it does kind of resemble that... But no, I was going for the spin attack look from NxC, but look more unique, that's why he's spinning on one leg and using one hand to straighten the other arm. Looks more natural :3MC Two said, May 20, 2009, 02:42:17 amThunder Hurricane AndyMatronic said, May 20, 2009, 06:35:13 pmThis looks great. I love it. I had the NXC one but it has horrible. I'm done for devoting time to new MUGEN creations.Although the process has been VERY educational, I've had some very... uhm... "odd run ins" with diff communities. If I did stop, I'd continue to update and maintain my existing characters (mostly because I still need to learn AI when I'm not spriting)... but I'll think about that more as this process continues.
I imagine some Japanese patcher might make AI for him eventually. You know how popular Klonoa is over there.
Well, intead of posting every animation I've done, I decided to just go with videos after all. Here's current progress!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrCMKpNm-Yg
Looks great!I never even bothered to download the other Klonoa out there but I can tell this one is far superior to it Keep up the great work!
Ok, been working a long time with the moves and I'm at a delima of a design change.Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyKing of SorrowI'm thinking of having this character replace Janga.Drop off your opinion if I should or shouldn't! In the meantime, I'm workin on the damage animations. Video up as SOON as those are done for current progress!
Wow, your fast with this guy! Can't wait to see his newest update! This'll be loads better than the NxC-styled version with the cheap AI.
Wow, I didn't even know that someone was working on a SvC-styled (graphics-wise) Klonoa! How coincidental, since I recently bought the Wii remake of Door to Phantomile. It's a shame that Namco X Capcom will never be brought here. Namco just had to assume that no one would play that with the amount of lesser-known chars in there...Then they put out Bravoman on VC. I smell shenanigans. Oh well. That said, Klonoa looks pretty good! Here's some more IN WORKS vid for yahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uB48GeiIgcEdit: Oh, and I decided to just leave Janga in for face-time.AND I'm gonna have King of Sorrow in for a special attack Also, yeah, I wish NxC would have come to the states, but I think both Capcom and Namco would have lost in that deal. That type of gameplay in the title just isn't known in the states. Personally I've only seen that rpg-ish fighting style in america with japanese game-lovers with using Super Famicons playing Gundam RPGs.
