Hi

to make things short I've really gotten into Vyn's characters (Terry the most :D)
So I thought I'd try making custom portraits for the Rumble fish lifebars that I'm using

Although I've encountered a problem.

I have no idea at all to make the pink background around the portrait go away (It shares the same color as the characters lowest right color on the Palette)

I have no idea at all to remove it, is it because it's a PNG and not a PCX?
If I can't be the best, I sure as hell can be the worst.

You have to make the pink background the indexed color, meaning the last in the palette.

Also nice timer font.

From a Previous life bar...don't really play Arcade that much so I didn't bother changing it.
Also eh I'll go take a look into that :x

Guess I gotta get used to Photoshop, I used MS Paint to make it
Thats why It didn't Index properly or whatever.

You have to make the pink background the zero color, meaning the first in the palette.

What you originally said is true, but ONLY in Fighter Factory, it's VIEWER is [ stupidly ] reversed, not the indexes themselves.

In every other program [ Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, MS Paint, What have you ], the 8 bit index viewer displays AND is actually set to what is supposed to be the transparent BG color as color number zero [ the top left, this btw is where the term ""zero color"" comes from ].

Better to understand this early so you don't end up going through a bunch of shit confusion like I did years ago.
