color replacer and flood fill sound like software tools, are they? id like to know what they are if so, i use photoshop for all my graphic stuff if u know some tricks for that software id like to hearbut first sprite is fine then? looks cvs and leather like? cause thats what i would be aiming at, second was just to see how far could i go in very little timeC.V.S.N.B said, January 21, 2008, 08:12:16 amlooks good but his chest need to be cvs and edit on his face alil / sense he a clone he should have some resimble of kyoya second needs work there tnx bud, as a lil geeky fact K is not a clone of kyo he was a regular guy (whips brother actually) and with genetic threapy was infused with kusanagi power turning his skin dark and his hair white but thats a bout it for physical change~Shinshoto~ said, January 21, 2008, 02:21:08 pmdoesn't look too cvs ishmind telling me why?
vyn said, January 21, 2008, 08:15:37 pmcolor replacer/flood fillthey're graphic editing programs functions. Photoshop has both of them (they're named Color Replacement Tool, under Brush/Pencil, and Paint Bucket, under Gradient). While your sprite has decent shading & colors, the proportions are definately off (changing shading + resize = NOT CVS), and his face doesn't look like CvSish at all. You might want to work on that a little more.
i am not very fond/used to the cvs style so i can't give specific tips on teh stytle and the sprite, the only thing i can suggets is putting him besides a kyo or someother sprite for comparison.flood fill and color replacer are not other software, they are tools in photoshop/whatever program you use, i think the flood fill is called paint bucket in ps, dunno about the color replacer. i use gfx gale for that stuff.

(reffer to the first sprite plz second is jsut a very quick draft)ont he first sprite i didnt rly resize cause in a sprite that usually causes the crappiest look and is pretty hard to fix plus u never get the look he had b4 the resizing, instead i edited the sprite and then incrased 2 sprites width, one left and one right, ssetting it to like .98 in mugen looks very well sized compared to cvs i thinkall this is to understand what cvs style truly meansi guess K being a dark skin and dark clothes char isnt helping since cvs is so bright might cause the wrong impression
more work on the stand one, getting better right? right!!!? XDcheck first post for comparison, still no scaling
Mr. Fong said, January 24, 2008, 03:08:44 pmlooking great, when will it be released?j/kpost one with his normal colors too. :]surekof pallette (not a cvs pallette of course)
awesome : DI was playing around with it, trying to apply rock's leather color but got lazy. : P around 03:30 AM here.
Now looks quite nice, but the color of his skin isn't yet CvS'ish, is more to Pim way of life. His gloves need a better palette and in his left leg looks strange the draw of his pants (look to the shadows).
