Huh, never thought about it. Was just thinking of how his classic design worked in KOF XIII, maintaining the hair the same and just adding the headband.

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting, as I just got a new laptop and everything. Thanks for the feedback, and here is something I whipped up:



I took the belt from Kyo's KOF XIII sprites. Oh and jacket white lines are coming later; Just wanna focus on Kyo's overall look.

Any feedback/critique is appreciated!

Thanks guys, but there is no way in hell I'm touching either the hair or color separating the jacket; maybe somebody else can do it.

Nice Improvement on the Belt! i think that doing M.I attire with only CS is kind of imposible, but 99 should be doable.

Sorry but no. The head on that one just looks ugly. B. Hatter is definitely doing a much better job.

Unless you're trying to point out how the pants could be separated from the rest.

Not much of an update, but I suppose it's good enough to keep this thread alive... Sorry for the late post!

P.S: Yes I did all the frames of animation for those actions...

Wel...

- Sleeves: Those looks like painted arms. They need to be a bit wider in the forearm.
- Lower jacket: You can't make a square of it. Try making it a bit more open(in the chest area), and so, give the lower area a small curve to make it look more natural: from here, you will see that shading comes naturally, making things easier to you.

Aside these, you improved the problems with the crotch area/zippers.

MAYBE, drawing similar poses in paper before spriting would help you to figure out how to do things. It's a small trick I use(even I don't scan them)

I'm aware that the hands change colors. My bad.

Well, my to do list for Kyo:
- Fix belt/hands/jacket
- CS the paletted Kyo sprites
- Fix the sleeves on Kyo's finished sprites
- Do the guard/guard break sprites (ground, crouch, air positions)

See ya later. And give me feedback. We need the best XI Kyo in CvS form to be perfeito!! :D
