1st day spriting shermie 12 done just 829 to do  :fear:  this is not intended to be a tutorial.....well it looks like one,but this is more to see some caps when i do this retouch-kind-alike thing i do with sprites...



















i could use camtasia or other software to catch any step...too lazy for that but you could sugest me one just to catch a bit of the though hours spriting her...

i`ll be ranmdomly updating this trhead .....

That right calf shouldn't be receiving that much light and not in that angle.
Some of the shading still looks like KOF shading.

well i have already edited 20 sprites  from the time i first posted here....i think i feel comfortable editing now ,feels heavy when you chance from editing a char and then switch to another....from krauser to andy to takuma..there is always a litle uncomfort barrier beetwen one char and another... after getting used to it is more easy then....by the way i will not do a deep CS on this one i think...well there is people who only dedicates to CS...

Very awesome project! One suggestion though, maybe you could retouch Shermie's face and make it look more detailed.

i have been using this one from the very begining ...i could only wish for 2 o 3 tools found in other software...like the transparency(found in paint) were certain colours usually the ones with this RGB values 0,255,0  255,0,255   or 255, 255,255 get invisible so is more easy to do frankenspriting on some edits......the rotate tool found in graphic gale...and also the "add a layer" found also in graphic gale.....

You planing to make she in CvS? awesome! I dont like KOF but have interesting chars like Orochi and Rugal....maybe you can make CvS Orochi

actually felt bored....not much to do than sleep>eat>takink a walk(some exercise)>spriting>repeating.....so far 46 sprites done...796 to do....tomorrow i'll post some samples (feeling extremely lazy right now)

266 sprites till now...i just need to edit 65 more sprites to finally finish all of her taunts and intros these is a really lot for these kind of animations over 300 just that part; well there is the stand animation,i don`t know wich kof character has more than her...... walk forward and backward jump crouch runing...alll at this point and not a single attack animation of any kind...well here..you can see

the secret to go this faster is to first ,resize-correct  sprites(when and were is needed) ,then do a palette  fix a  to work with,  make a CS soo no colours are  shared ,these must be done to all the sprites , after that  is just a matter to work with idraw,the each sprite becomes really easy to edit 
take`s beetwen 3 - 5 mins to finish each

Her legs are still not separated on sprite 32, there is still a big chunk of her right sleeve missing in sprite 66, her orochi stance has some pixels that wobble or pop in and out on her skirt and boots even though they are completely still, 72-74 have something weird going on where her blue midriff colors would overlap her left arm.

I went ahead and fixed all of these, but if you choose to use them I ask that you compare sprites 32 and 72-75 to the original sprite. I didn't have the originals to reference so the edits that I made may not be as accurate as they could be.

And thanks for sharing your working methods!
In Idraw, do you use a "dot" tool to work pixel by pixel? Perhaps a combination of multiple tools.

Also, some of her sprites are based on her early incarnation (in KOF97, 98...).
I'll edit them to match her (2K2, NGBC style), are you OK with that?

This is a preview of what I edited on your sprites to match her look in Kof 2K2 / NGBC.

Basically:
-Hair tweaking
-Thicker thighs
-Wider hips
-sleeves minor edits

-I fixed few missing CS works on her skirt's "cut parts"

I send you the sprites in your PM.

I'll edit the future ones once you finished to convert to CVS style.
