Try to include images when you post a problem it makes things easier for people to understand your problem i don't actually know the what to change in the .def of your LifeBars but if they are to big then the easy thing to do is get a 1280x720 screenpack because they probably weren't made for 640x480 or try to find similar LifeBars for   640x480 the hard way not unless you understand the codes is to scale it down and stuff  :-\
