Ok I updated the sheets according to Walt' suggestion.

This is how they were before the update:

As you can see DS sheet was one of the smallest ones without any chance to grow, all of Darkstalkers chars were there (except for Shadow & puppet), now that it is themed for monsters and medieval games from CAPCOM it will grow. Leo from Warzard fits there, even if his sprites aren't done yet.

DS sheet now is called MST.

You keep asking me things that I explained in the notes from the FAQ:

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

Chun-li, Ryu, Ken and Gouki appear in SvC Chaos game, Alpha' Chun-li ,Evil Ryu, Violent Ken and Oni are their EX versions, so if they are shown already in the first sheet it was logical to just show their EX versions in SF, avoiding showing them again.

Rugal and most bosses are in the bottom part of the sheets. In AOFF sheet' bottom are the Orochi' saga' bosses because they are related, yes they are. In KoF sheet' bottom are the bosses done exclusively for KoF: NESTS saga and Ash Saga that aren't related to Art of Fighting or Fatal Fury in any way.

Most of us: nobody brought the organization topic until you mentioned it, and there were a lot of views so I can say most of us were ok with that.

Another thing you didn't brought is that I didn't add Sean from SF3, he would be in CvS sheet but I still think he is a mere clone, I don't like half-done chars like headswaps.

Seriously can you quit the organization topic? It is getting annoying, I took the time to do that structure, searching and searching spriters' galleries and contacting them, even I did a FAQ all of this because I care, like to you to come here and give me order like if you were my bosses, no, Im the leader of this encyclopedia the idea was mine since long ago (2009) I edited 1/4 of the sprites shown here, and I order them and select them as I feel to, so please respect that, know your limits.

Im open to suggestions you know that, but you are giving me pushing and annoying orders. And I think is pretty contradictory than in a mugen forum you tell me this, here are a lot of people that do what they want. I would expect this from fighting games forums, but not here.

what

Just because nobody complained, doesn't means everyone was okay with it. You just don't simply agree with something by not saying anything.

I know this is old and all (I'm necrobumping, I know that), but Chamat, can you reupload the spritesheets and post them (in a new post, as far as I can remember you can't edit the posts)?

When you do, I'll ask someone to edit your first post with the new ones.

What's wrong? another user told me that he couldn't see the images. How many sheets can't you see? all or just a few?

I don't know what other server besides Deviantart can support large images like those sheets. So if I upload them again using DA it will have the same problem I guess.

So here is a zip for you:
[Link]

You can edit the sheets with Fireworks.

There wasn't updates because I haven't sprited/searched new images for it, I'm not interested about this encyclopedia anymore.

Ok, I tell you now the ones that don't exist in DeviantArt, thus they can't be seen here:

INDEX:
CvS
SvC
MST
AOFF

CvSvC
SvC
SF
AOFF
SNK

The rest is online.
Probably you uploaded them in you DeviantArt, deleted the entry and just kept the image link so after a while the image gets deleted (I think it happened like that, if not I don't know how it happened).

Thanks for the link, I'll make sure the images get replaced.

cyberbot's character  between devilot and megaman (i don't know her name) in capcom sheet is not mine, neither Dee, it was made from my Demitri's edit  but it wasn't me. By the way, i've updated all my edits, maybe in a next update you can change them :)

This encyclopedia is now five years old! :)
On Chamat's request, the 2d Forever site is now the old one. (Don't worry guys, it redirects you to the working one, plus it's a nice continue screen so you're not losing anything.)

I have to say it's very cool! Good job. I don't know if and where I have to place it in the sheets. In the FAQ there is:
Quote
Q: So aren't you going to upload animated stands?
A: Unluckily no.
However your contribution is quite good.
Another thing (I'm being nitpicky, sorry), the sprites that are in the Index (NeoGeoPocket sprites) usually have three colours (two colours + black outlines) while yours has 12 colours.

Cyberbot's character between devilot and megaman (I don't know her name) in Capcom sheet is not mine, neither Dee, it was made from my Demitri's edit but it wasn't me. By the way, I've updated all my edits, maybe in a next update you can change them :)
Chamat told me he isn't interested in this encyclopedia anymore, but maybe I can take his place for the updates. I haven't asked him yet.

 Friend Alex you don't need to put the GIF in the encyclopedia, does no fit.
 It's just for showcase!

 Chamat's work is very inspiring, i always use as base to studies to NGPC style (and EFEX too).

 Already Thank you!!

@DGO:

Quote
Q: Why am I credited for a sprite that I didn't do?
A: This is because one of your sprites was converted to another style, this is to have more spriters in the credits and this helped to complete the sheets faster. "I just take the credit when the sprite I edit doesn't look like yours anymore."

@Ulisan:

Quote
Q: If I do new sprites, can I replace another fan spriter's work?
A: Yes, if yours has more accuracy, this is how the encyclopedia works. Some edits that are included in the sheets can be replaced.
Quote
Q: Can I post sprites here?
A: If you find some sprites that have the chance to be here, yes you can. But please check if there is not already a version of the sprite of the char in the style you want to post first.
Quote
Q: Can I post MY OWN sprites here?
A: It is preferable that you post it in the graphic section. But it could be just if nobody has done the char sprite in your style, this is to avoid rudeness.
Quote
Q: If two or more spriters do their version of a char, how do you decide whether to select one or another?
A: Overall quality and style accuracy:
   -Scale
   -Anatomy proportion (sizes of the body parts)
   -Colors quantity
   -Palette colors
   -General shading
   -If the pose is the stand pose (preferably)
   -Outfit
   -Originality (more than a mere edition)
   -Effectiviness (not more complicated than the style itself)
   -If it is a Mugen created char with gameplay accuracy (optional)

Actually there is eFeX' Pocket Dudley which is pretty cool. Replacing eFeX' sprites is difficult, but not impossible, because he gives them a professional touch.

@Alex Sinigaglia:

If you are interested you can update the sheets when necessary, all you need is Macromedia/Adobe Fireworks and a ruler that I will send you when I arrive home. It is not a hard work since it doesnt consume time and if you doubt about something there is the FAQ. The only difficult thing would be selecting which sprites will you add or replace, that's up to you.

And actually I can't edit my posts so I can't update the sheets by my own.

[J'accuse]

Didn't know that and I hadn't seen her in [Emugif] (MidnightBliss=女化). And I was fooled for your other sprites, you do them with official quality.

I suppose that she is my bastard then.

...poor Dee ;-;

@Ink:
Yes I have seen your CPS3 sprites but these can't be included:
Quote
Notes:
-The "EX" sprite style selected for the "CAP" sheet is CPS2 style.

The main problem would be the aesthetical clash with the surrounding characters in the same column.

Just to be clear: Im not interested in updating the encyclopedia, but if you have any doubt/question I will answer if I can.
