Daemon Bride Final Boss - Dies Irae (2-5-2013)

3/5/2013:
1. Fixed winpose bug that would repeat itself if enemy took too long to 'lose'.

25/11/2012 - huge update since daemon bride has been emulated:
1. New Intro, and new intro/super partner added
2. A+B evade (air and ground) voice
3. y move knocks far away on first helper hit (very little downward fall)
4. x move Hits diagup
5. b move has trails behind it. does not knockdown. does little dmg. sets enemy ablaze
6. a move flame pillar hits 2 times only, doesnt hit diagup much.
7. purple pillar instead of red, and lessened red clsn of it
*8. HE REGENERATES LIFE SLOWLY WHEN NOT HIT
*9. Totally remade super. envshake added. movecamera if stage permits it
*10. Totally remade z move to homing hit.
11. adjusted duration for super
12. Added new anims
13. aligned portrait to the right abit
14. Fixed bugs for wings, flame pillars, super, gethit explods,
15. Changed some gethit sounds
16. Added land on feet sound (provisional)

there are 1 or 2 bugs that I will fix in due time.
there is some background color problem with some of the sprites...

7/11/2012a:
1. Added portraits (including win portrait), super portraits (no super background, the one with scrolling clouds, yet)
2. Adjusted super startup animation timings
3. Adjusted FF dash to be less spammable and fade in/out much better.
4. Adjusted p2 pausetime for "y" move's helper(211) hitdef to 26 ticks from 22.
5. Added KOFXIII guardsparks and adjusted spark positions
6. Tweaked AI so he doesn't spam Supermove that much in training mode.
7. Realigned sprites' x axis for move "a"

Thanks to Muscle Diggle (aokmaniac13) for the sprites and sounds!

Notes:
1. He has no throw
2. He has no jump or crouch
3. Button c/z - Summons his daemon bride. Once summoned, it will stay on screen. Pressing z or c shoots projectiles from it. Only z button relocates the helper to your current position.
4. All of his projectiles can negate other projectiles.
5. His y button special move can be cancelled into other moves after about 20ticks.
6. He can recover in air/near ground with button z/x+y.
7. All his moves are single buttons.
8. Added homing projectiles for partner

Things Left:
1. Correct animations for partner's fireballs
2. Accurate hit/guardsparks
3. More accurate hit/guardsounds instead of some guardsounds from KOFXIII
4. Accurate Super background
5. Accurate dizzy animation and transition to standing pose

question, how do u make an ai save the super for 10 seconds or so, whenever it's at level 1, 2, or 3 it uses the super over and over again for less than a few seconds or so?

The AI of the latest update uses Super when p2bodydist x > 70, and when you make an attack or are in the air when p2bodydist x <= 70 (these are the ones I presume/remember will cause spamming in training mode).

To change them, search for value = 1000 and value = 1100 in Dies Irae.cns, then add a p2movetype = A for trigger2 of 1100 (or anything else that works for you to stop it from spamming).  I only put 3 compulsory AI commands in the statedef -2 area; you can remove them all temporarily if you want to stop the spamming.

I can't fix this now because I'm not at home.

6. More accurate timings when more videos of him can be found or the game actually gets emulated on Taito Soon
Taito Type X games are not emulated, they run natively on windows.
This isn't even a TTX game, this runs on the Ex-Board which is also windows native.

Regarding the game itself, all characters have two attack buttons A B and a Daemon attack button (projectiles) with the C button.  The fourth and last button D is for 8 way dash, which goes through projectiles and allows you to do dash attacks.

Ohhh. I read a rumor about a new version of Daemon Bride coming out on Taito Type X2 that's why. Hmm.

Cool, thanks for the info! I will update Dies Irae by tomorrow, with the new stuff that you sent/provided!
