Is Dante supposed to get vergils boots and gloves when he punches? If not when is it planned to be fixed because I really enjoy this character
That's Beowulf, the gauntlets from DMC3. Both brothers can use them, although they use different techniques with them equipped.
Ahhh well I'm not familiar with details in the series. Thats why I asked. Anyways this is a wonderful character and definitely will be added to my roster.
So, does the AI patch work on the new version or is a new one going to have to be made? I've noticed both Dante and Vergil seem.... slower... in terms of comboing anyway... Dunno if this is because I was using the AI patches before or something to do with the characters. (then again, Dante himself is always kinda weak without the patch.)
Someone posted, that AI patch for Dante was updated. So just get the updated version and it should work.

Btw can someone help about m-ism AI for vergil, because i just unzipped the files in vergil folder but i doubt i installed that stuff correctly cause apparently they arent associated to anything and the .def file should be called "vergil" to overwrite the other one if i'm not mistaken ?
m-ism probably did that intentionally so you can freely switch between unpatched Vergil and AI patched Vergil.

You have two versions of the character that don't overwrite each other, and have separate .def files. I always edit the display name of the vergil-mism.def to say "Vergil (M-Ism)".
Ok so what i did is create a new "Vergil AI" folder and just put the unzipped files into it as they are, like a stand alone character. Character shows ok on visual select (even tough old version small big ports) but mugen crashes with error : cant find vergil m ism.def. I am so dumb I need your assistance guys halp.
the only problem i had with bugya's dante is palette swap, i got some palettes for him and he palette swaps
