finally dark ash xiii xD

i am not sure if i complete it 100% cuz i didnt play kof xiii as a dark ash so u can give me a feedback
and tell me what i missed in dark ash

1. added more sprites ( over 2000 )
2. fixed bugs
3. HD flame except the flame when he flip around the color are not the right ( i will fix it soon as soon )
4. replaced every sprites in dark ash
5. HD Dark ball
6. fixed The dark grayish palette now its in HD !
7. fixed The collisions both blue and red
8. fixed Sprites, feet positions
9. added some codes
10. to enable the dark aura mod press Start + z ( still beta )

11. added neomax XIII version ( D,DF,D,DB,c ) u need to be close to the enemy ) i dont know how its looks like i told u i didnt play kof xiii as a dark ash so u can tell me if i was right :\ but i am sure for that :)

12. now its for mugen 1.0 and old one :) works fine !!!

13. I am not done yet I'll keep updating

Is this your first character? I'll give you feedback. However I have not played the source game King of Fighters XIII.

-In the readme file at least tell us all of your character's attacks, commands, etc. It's easier for all of us.

-Big portrait has lots of colorloss, you may need to get a new one.

-The dark grayish palette is boring. Even though you want to make the character "evil" you should at least give us more colors.

-The colisions both blue and red a very very bad. Sometimes I can't hit the character and some of Dark Ash's attacks don't hit the opponent. You may have to redo the colisions in my opinion it'll be a lot of work but it's for the better.

-Sprites are not positioned right, which is a common mistake for people new to creating. Look at your character's feet positions and line them up or else your character will look "jittery" and move wrong.

-From the video the projectiles seem they can cause infinites. Use a trigger like "Triggerall = numproj(ID of projectile) < 1" or what ever number to stop spam.

You just need to polish up those things and the character will be good.  :)

Also since KOF XIII is one of those "newer" 2D fighters along with Blazblue and etc, you should think about working on characters like these for more than 2 weeks before a release. Newer 2D fighting characters are much harder to make and should require more time to create them. Just in my opinion and experience.

his pushback attack (strong punch+strong kick) has a very small sprite for some reason

Also because you posted this thread in the mugen 1.0 + release section. You need to add things like "1.0" to the versiondate in the .def file or else you get a debug errors in mugen 1.0. Also you need to use something called a "localcoord". It's a scaling thing in mugen. So under pal.defaults in the .def put something like this in "Localcoord = 320,240" this is also for compatability issues with future versions of mugen. You could use other localcoords like 640,480 or 1280,720. If you use 640 you have to multiply every velset and size in the character by 2 and for 1280 by 4.

This is one of those "this is my first character" characters. Needs a lot of improving so download it and give feedback to help the creator improve if I missed anything.

It's like that in Source btw, just has a dark aura added in the actual game

Lol good effort in changing all the evil_ash_diabolosis sprites to KOF XIII's! It still has some wrong stuff, but I'm sure you would know how to make it perfect. Good luck : )

I noticed too that the orginal file used was from evil_ash_diabolosis, but at the end of the day, that's not a bad thing. He did a good char and well done on make the char sprites more updated. I hope soon, the HD dark flame projectiles can be added soon, including the Fructidor move to make him more bad-ass. :)

Out of curiosity, I edited the clsns of this char cause some of them were misplaced. I can send them to you if you want because they were kinda plentiful to update. Was kinda looking forward to the update until now, the only thing left to do was to add the HD sprites of the projectiles. :)

Whoops man, sorry to disturb your studies and hope you do well in school. I too am taking my finals at the university. I am very glad to hear that your work on this char has been progressing and am looking forward to the day two weeks from now perhaps of your latest release. If I can be of any help, I'd be glad to extend some. :)
