Finished all of the animations except for his Electric Cage super, in which I'll apparently have to do some fairly extensive edits. I also came across around 10 or 15 frames that weren't in Kamekaze's Doom, so I'll color separate and include them in the pack.
davismaximus said, September 11, 2013, 02:45:12 amSo something like this?http://i.imgur.com/F1jGiyy.pngThe highlights should be on Doom's sprites, separate from the effects. For one thing, it's still part of Doom (it's just like someone was shining a flashlight or something on him), and should remain directly integrated with his sprites. Plus, if the effects were hi-resed the flash would just have to be reintegrated back to Doom anyway.
Gotcha, I was just gonna leave the flash on Doom and separate it from the effect, having three potential layers. That way if anyone wants to hi-res the flash, they have that option.Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty Here's some progress on Electric Cage. I think I did a relatively decent job of filling in where the effects were, but if there's anything glaringly wrong, feel free to yell at me. Forgot to mention that jtp768 sent me a shit-ton of separated sprites for Guy the other day. I'll start going through them and compiling the .sff tomorrow.
Finished up Electric Cage today, which is the last animation. I just gotta give everything a once-over and I'll add these to the sprite pack.
Aaaand done. I've added them to my CS topic. If anyone notices any dumbfuckery on my part, let me know.
Thanks to jtp768, I've gotten back into the groove with Guy's separation. He sent me a whole bunch of sprites that I've been going through, fixing up, and tossing into Guy's .sff. He reduced the workload by a bunch, so expect some steady progress on that front.
Thanks, BOSS. It's been a long time coming, but I'm plowing ahead. All basic movements are done, working on the attacks right now.
here's some pals i made\cody(didn't know if to use a blonde or in-game(current) color of his hair)docterine dark customs
I agree, that Cody palette is pretty damn cool. I did notice though that the shades of the "mask" should be the same as the rest of his face. Also, the last two shades of his arms, hands, and inner mesh are the same color, removing some depth. I'm digging that D.D. pal as well. Here's some more stuff: I also wanted to get some opinions on his win pose, namely the inner trim on his pants. There's no definitive line like there is in the front, so I had to make a few guesses. I no it's not a big thing, but I'd rather have it as close to perfect as I can.
