First Superman, then the Justice League of America, decided that what America stands for no longer represents them:Truth, Justice, and not so much the American way.Justice League International
20 bucks says that most, if not all of the people getting up in arms over this have never read any comic, let alone this one.
Batman needs more hours in Photoshop cause that logo is ass. Also, if you renounce your U.S.(or any other form of) citizenship/nationality,what are you considered as(Besides an illegal alien).

it's nice to see some comics take on current world issues and have some balls to take sides without almost instantly backing down
It would be funny to see Supes go all Miracleman in a "what are you going to do about that?" way, but I don't think DC will go that far. Still, a step in an interesting direction.

Bruce Wayne will hunt that traitor/terrorist down and feed him kryptonite as soon as Morrison gets fired and Batman becomes Batman again.
Doomrider said, May 02, 2011, 10:06:37 pmBruce Wayne will hunt that traitor/terrorist down and feed him kryptonite as soon as Morrison gets fired and Batman becomes Batman again. He's still Batman. Multiple heroes wearing the same mantle isn't a big deal in the DC universe.
I think if Cap America would make the same Superman did, then there will be real controverse. Since a time ago Supes goes with World instead just USA, not like Cap which represents better the "American Way" than the big-SJmorphman said, May 02, 2011, 10:21:52 pmHe's still Batman. But there he left his Cap costume (some like Spiderman did in some part of his history), not his nationality. The only time he left to be american is in the Operation: Rebirth saga, when after come back to life and "helps" Red Skull to avoid World War III, he was filmed, and that video were to government hands and Clinton exiles Rogers (the "Man Without a Country" sub-saga)
I want to see superman's birth certificate and transcripts. I don't think he is qualified to be a reporter.
Uh, Superman is a super hero, not a reporter. Maybe you're talking about Clark Kent, but only a blind man would mistake him for Superman.
well,i never really thought superman was an american person anyway.so him just giving up on america doesn't surprise me that much.well, captain america better stay american..we have to have some form of a america-obsessed superhero.
Superman is an illegal alien in current continuity.Technically he was born in the US post-Crisis (long story short, he was still a fetus and was placed in a "birthing matrix" that was in the rocket, and was born when the rocket landed).but somehow the birthing matrix still exists in current continuity cause they mentioned it in the Cyborg Superman's origin? I dunno how that works. Comics!
