Bea said, December 09, 2014, 01:44:53 pmSee, one sexy male costume. It is not much, but at least they keep throwing us a bone here and there. I like this. Could be better, but I like this.Well, there's TWO male costumes, one is sexy though so it does seem like TN is FINALLY listening to the fact that the males need costumes too. So this is something along with police bass and rig.

The estrogen brigade would appreciate it.
Selling colors, yeah.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGfsH43GEB8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2F7CmNtxKgPS4/PS3 physics comparison and gravure movie trailer, definitely worth bumping this thread for.So, is DoA5 too sexualized? A certain someone seems to think so.Tomonobu Itagaki said:https://www.facebook.com/tomonobu.itagaki/posts/1513962288867884?comment_id=1514624682134978&offset=0&total_comments=90It's obvious that you guys, the loyal DOA fans, have been divided. Lemme explain in a way anyone can understand. I made the fighting game "DOA", and the action game "Ninja Gaiden." As the third pillar, I also created "DOA:Xtreme." Why did I create DOAX? The major purpose of DOAX was to act as a firewall for the main DOA fighter series, so that it wouldn't become excessively erotic. Now, don't get me wrong, I love sexy women, that's also one purpose. But in a fighting game, there's no need for really excessive sexual imagery. Naturally, there're definitely people in the DOA fanbase who are looking for that. But at the same time, there're also those who don't wanna see that. So I decided to make a spin-off title to solve that dilemma with Zack Island, a paradise on an island in the south. As the creator of the DOA universe, I wanted to make and keep all DOA fans as happy as possible, so I've set up that barrier. In other words, DOA and DOAX were two games with completely different purposes, and you absolutely CANNOT lump them together. But what did DOA5 blah blah blah do? I'm sure you guys already know. But lemme proclaim. Current Team NINJA was/is injecting too much sexualism into a game where it's not needed for several reasons. It's like attempting to prolong its almost dead body with a life-sustaining serum (or poison, in this case). As a result, those fans who don't like super-sexualized games have backed away from the fighting game DOA. What the hell kind of game designer would do something as insane as that? But they did. All DOA fans shouldn't avert their eyes from this issue.
I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Natsumi's comment on FB...yeah she got my vote on how I feel about this.
I tought doax was made for people who wanted to look at boobs without being forced to play a shitty fighting game ???

All DOA fans shouldn't avert their eyes from this issue. You guys want me to be 1000% serious right now? Because I'm gonna say this because it has to be said:Itagaki should be the absolute last person to talk about where DOA5 is now. I'm not saying this as simply someone who hates Itagaki, to this day, I still hold a huge level of respect for him for creating DOA and Ninja Gaiden as well as how he carries himself. No, the main reason I say this is simply because...Itagaki was just as much of a problem of DOA's overall image and the very issues he's talking about than Tecmo Koei overall is with the sexualization(The most detailed report lately even stated Team Ninja is pretty damn conflicted about the sexualization recently and it obviously makes sense that this is corporate mandate).Alot of you will point out how atleast Itagaki made 2 games specifically for it's fanservice, but at the same time, most people seem to forget that it was those exact games that gave DOA the stigma it has to this day! it's honest to god ignorance when he failed to think that those games wouldn't damage DOA's overall image even moreso than most of the people complaining about the sexualization in the original games. If anything, the DLC is still DLC, and without that, none of the costumes is really all that risque past the characters that obviously are teases in-character(Nyotengu, Christie, Tina and Lisa), so it's just basically making me question how Itagaki really sees things if that is how he immediately goes into something like this to begin with.
true that. just play tekken if you don't want cute girls and frilly skanty dresses...oh wait lucky chloe.

I just use my PC for internet and downloading crap.Getting Ultra SFIV and SF5 on PS4. I'm sure most tournament players will get the console version of these street fighter games, so like a sheep, I've followed them. I want the strongest competition.

I better not exclude the PS4 community. I only got good at SF4 because I played a shitload of SSFIV / AE. But mostly SSFIV days. We gotta play again sometime!! So what made you wanna get a PS4 instead of Xbone?but hey there's some really good players on PC too! but yeah I live in the west coast, there are tournaments everywhere anyway... so if I need tough competition it's only a 20 minute drive!
extravagant said, December 25, 2014, 09:57:36 pmSo what made you wanna get a PS4 instead of Xbone?PS4 has a ton of exclusive games coming out and remasters/definitive editions that I want to play(Got The Last of Us remastered today). A lot of fighters are only on it as well. Been following multi platform releases and the PS4 versions of games seem to be performing a little bit better than XBone. It looks like the strongest console at the moment for me.
