After DmC the second game which is part of a series but somehow does not fit into that series very well =/
MightyKombat said, June 12, 2013, 06:38:09 pmWatch them take out all the unique usable weapons like coat hangers and tires and shit.I dunno about that, it is still being developed by Capcom Vancouver, and they're the people who invented the dildo cannon.Probably will be more of an emphasis on guns, though. And maybe there won't be shower faucets any more because a comical amount of blood showering out from it after it is jabbed into a zombie won't be "visceral" amd "realistic" enough. Or who knows.Tyrant Belial said, June 12, 2013, 06:45:40 pmDid they just take the guy form Walking Dead Survival Instincts?... no. This has been in the works for a while.
While it's terrible they decided to adapt a new "style", can't honestly say I care. I stopped caring about DR with 2.
Jmorphman said, June 12, 2013, 09:16:54 pmOh man I remember that now, but there he looks different, like he sorta fits. Maybe its just that he has color and now just some crappy grimy nobody.Hope to God its simply a timed exclusive and eventually comes to PC and PS4. Hoping PC the most so modders can hopefully fix the lack of colors.
So wait....what exactly is so bad about this game???From the gameplay I've seen so far it looks quite good and less cartoony

You take apart key elements from a game and it begins to become a shadow of itself or in this case a brown tinted genericathon.

Or who knows.Oh watch them. If they don't take them out they'll de-emphasize them to the point they might as well not be there. And since this is inspired by COD and is more "super serious" and "hyper realistic" watch them make all the endings bad ones where you die or your efforts mean squat.
jweezy34 said, June 13, 2013, 10:55:37 amless cartoonyhave you actually played one of these games beforeHell, even the trailer that I'm linking shows what makes the series unique. Posted: June 26, 2013, 01:31:13 amPsychopaths were leaked.QuoteSiliconera exclusively revealed details about Dead Rising 3 a year and a half before Microsoft unveiled the game as an Xbox One exclusive. We posted concept art of the main character, revealed he was a mechanic, and that the game takes place in Los Perdidos. We have a lot more to tell you about Dead Rising 3 from documents we received from an inside source.Dead Rising 3 will have psychopaths to fight and most of these boss-like battles are with humans that went insane during the zombie outbreak. One of the psychopaths is an Asian immigrant who moved to Los Perdidos dreaming of a better life. “Shifu” (that’s his codename) has been working a low paying job for a family that doesn’t respect him and his only refuge is a Zen garden that he grooms everyday. During the zombie outbreak, Shifu continues to maintain his garden and kills anyone that steps inside the temple. Of course, Nick stumbles inside and sees Shifu holding a staff and meditating over a mound of corpses. He leaves Nick alone until Nick trips on one of the garden’s rocks and knocks it out of place. Shifu fights Rick using something that looks like a Guan Dao.Another psychopath is a female professional wrestler and bodybuilder. Nick runs into Jerry at a gym who is lifting weights and upset that her competition was canceled due to the zombie outbreak. Jerry looks more masculine than feminine and Nick thinks she is a he which ticks Jerry off. She throws weights at Nick and uses various grappling moves in battle.Players will also fight a motorcycle gang leader (pictured). Unlike the other psychopaths, the motorcycle leader welcomes the zombie outbreak because this brought the anarchy he has always dreamed of. The biker leader has a custom motorcycle with a steamroller front wheel and various human remains attached as a war trophies. The most interesting psychopath that we know about is a spoiled adult living off a trust fund who plays video games all day. Trent has been hiding out in his mansion completely oblivious to reality when Nick comes in to rescue him. Trent who is lying in a pool of empty chip bags and mountain dew tells Nick to blow off because he needs to finish a level first. Nick tries to reason with Trent, but he’s so deluded he talks about headshots in the game and whines about how a pizza delivery man hasn’t arrived. Posted: June 28, 2013, 10:56:48 pmOne more thing to add, apparantly Case West isn't canon.QuoteThe scenario itself is another "what-if" scenario (non-canon), but some of the places/characters/what-have-you referenced within may be integral to the canonical story. So take that as you will.
First 25 minutes of the game - Possible spoilers in the videohttp://www.shacknews.com/article/81890/how-dead-rising-3-tones-down-the-silliness-a-littleQuoteDead Rising has taken more than a few turns for the silly, to the point that a major plot point in the second game revolved around a zombie-killing gameshow. When Capcom set about making Dead Rising 3, it wanted to tone down the wackiness, if for nothing else than to make zombies scary again."We didn’t want to be funny first," executive producer Josh Bridge told IGN. "It eroded to the point of, 'Are we even making a zombie game?' We didn't want to be clown-shoes with the tone. The goal with Dead Rising 3 then became to bring the focus back on zombies as a frightening enemy."That said, they knew they couldn't ditch the weirdness entirely without feeling like it was losing a part of its identity. Art director Alan Jarvie remarked on how difficult it was to balance that duality between fear and funny. "It was kind of an art direction nightmare," Jarvie said. "You're trying to do two things at once, it's a two-faced game. You've got to give a nod to both of those palettes at the same time."
