Hey everyone,

I recently downloaded Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 to get some sounds from it. Don't worry, I own the game. :P. I had done this with NUNS2 as well and was successful. The difference this time is the encoding of the final file called ".hca." Now, to get here, I started with a .CPK file, that I unpacked to get lots of .awb file. After some research I realized that VGMToolBox can extract the HCA headers from these and split the file. So, I did that and got a bunch of .hca files. Now, I found a tool called HCA2WAV that is supposed to be working, but doesn't for these files. I can upload a sample file for anyone interested in helping. I have reason to believe that the files won't decode because they're XOR'd. I'm not sure why there's no decoder for this, yet there's a CLI player called CRIAtomPlayer.exe. This can actually play the files. Can anyone help me to decode these .hca files?

This problem has now turned into two things. First the .hca files, but now I realize that all the sounds aren't in just what I have extracted. Apparently, the other sounds are in .xfbin files, which I believe are models. And I can't find a way to rip sounds out of .xfbin files now. Ugh, something tells me this isn't going to be possible.
