I know this is a rather boring request, but does anyone have a definitive select list? Not like perfect select, I don't need a full list of characters, I'd just like to know what character you would class as the ideal version for each particular game.

Oddly enough, if I have 2 of the same character by different authors, I just play them against each other and keep the winner. Any one else do this? It just seems weird afterwards when I have Splode's brilliant version of Rogue but she has her Marvel versus Capcom 2 portrait. Picky picky. XD

everyone has their own 'definitive' version of a character

some use accuracy as definitive, others use amount of moves, etc etc.

definitive is different for everyone, best if you use your own definitives

somebody who hasn't made anything is not a leecher.
Somebody is a leecher when they have not made anything AND:
pesters others to make\give characters,
shows off what characters they have constantly,
warehouse,   
complains loudly when somebody makes something private.
Please READ, the whole leecher vs. creator debate was not actually about ancient methods to get out blood vs. how one should take ribs from people and make women.

Wrongo. Leecher is download only. That's it. Everything else you listed is... something else.

Because it's inevitable and people just won't let Guild "get away" with being a "leecher haven," even if they distort the original meaning of leecher past recognition.

Also I'm really trying my hardest not to bring up certain people, but the definition Claws gave sounds like something a certain someone said not too long ago even though it's been since proven wrong.

OBJECTION!! This is where it contradict each other. You said that somebody who hasn't made anything is not a Leecher. But then you said they are a Leecher when they have not made anything. The majority of Mugen players are not Creator, and therefore are Leecher since they have not made anything for the Mugen community. Also, the majority of the Mugen community are mostly Leecher which download stuff from the Creator.

A behavior of a person of how they act does not mean they are Leecher.

Leecher just take, take, take.

If you wanted to have a definitive character list, then i suggest you chose a type of MUGEN style you want to follow

Accurate conversions *Characters that play like they do from their game of origin*
Semi-Accurate, with some modifications *accurate timings, vels,etc, but some liberties taken, a new move here and there*
Edited *some accurate stuff, but mostly new stuff added in, such as moves, sounds, etc*

then find out what characters fit that style. IE there are Kyo's that fit in each style, but which one is definitive is dependent on you and your choice of style
