And yeah, terribad roster. But honestly? I knew said roster was gonna build up to being bad once I saw the first two characters announced.

EDIT: All of a sudden purposely starting a mirror match just to piss someone off when you win.....seems worth it.

Shana gave some hope that the character selection was going to be decent, but yeah, anything better than below average would have been ideal.

I'll just say that's a heavily flawed statement considering all we've seen so far.

Problem here is if you don't know if they can fight due to not knowing how they could fight. Assuming this early and without footage is kinda pointless.
If anything, Kirino's pseudo-tsun tantrums could make for a good moveset. Or not. Who knows.

Not knowing how to fight is not the point I'm trying to make because then 3/4 of Melty Blood/Ougon/Jojo would be irrelevant. What I'm asking is the demographic they're going for really the kind to think FUCK YES I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE CHICK FROM MY LITTLE SISTER BEAT SOME ASS, a point Shwa is incapable of understanding as is the case with most of the points I attempt to make.

I wonder how many people had a similar impression when Melty Blood first came out.

But oh well, people always tell other people around here how graphics don't matter and gameplay is the most important thing. So the same people will be able to ignore the fact that the cast so far is pretty meh and give the game a try anyway!

I am more worried about actually knowing who the fuck Kirino and Asuna are though, considering that I don't even watch animes like that. Damn you internet!

Yeah, I know there are several examples of that happening (Aquapazza is a good one), but it's just that I read the OreImo novels and it specially feels stronger for me that she doesn't fit at all. It's more of my personal opinion though. Not saying that it should apply to every single character that doesn't know how to fight in the source.

right now it's only one character that can't fight, stop being so picky even street fighter has dan; kirino will make for an excellent punching bag anyway. There are also high chances of taiga making it there.

I can understand why they'd put Kirino over Ayase or Kuroneko due to lead status (and 2ND PSP GAME SPOILERS), but goddammit.
