Desktop situation.

I seem to be locked out of being able to change the wallpaper of my desktop.

This is what it looks like with the display properties opened.



It's been like that for a week or so, and I grow tired of not being able to see my wallpaper (as pictured below).



Anyone know the solution to his problem?

I have not in the past encountered this problem.. Maybe there are some admin settings that need to be changed... have you tried setting your wallpapaer just by right clickingg an image on the net or a file on your pc? rather than setting it via your desktop...

Yes. I've tried all of the options given on administrator as well.

HijackThis, it generates a log with all the problems in your PC, amirite ?

Yes this is an option... Takes alot of time though.. Well it can.

Go to safe mode and restore to a recent date?

Run Spybot SearchandDestroy or as someone previously said, run Hijackthis. These would be useful. Unless somewhere along the lines you deleted some kind of important file. Then I would go with the restore :P  :-\
