What's been changed:- No more chain combos.- No more ex moves.- No custom combo- Can edit a line in the command to choose if you want his long attacks to be automatic, or annoyingly contricted with throws like in CvS2. Default is automatic.- Juggling is very strict (No juggling recovering opponents or falling opponents); only juggling is allowed in some occasions and during super moves. - Has all of his cancels from CvS2. - Similar hit velocities and pauses to CvS2, to make for a Dhalsimish feel.- Re-did some graphics: Hyper portrait; Hitsparks, Powercharge (should look much better than before)Spoiler: Should look much better in motion, in Mugen (click to see content)- Updated vigor mode, tried to make it very fair.- Shouldn't hit opponents when his back is turned anymore with his Yoga flame; if it happens, i's inevitable... it's bound to happen.- Tweaks to hitdefs, velocities, and restrictions, too much to list.- Reduced the file size significantly.- Adjusted the readme, which contains more information about Vigormode, and it should be read. DownloadLooking for feedback on the character and system. Thanks.
Sweet new look Rajaa. And I knew you could pull off the BBB Hyper portrait look too. Jolly good show lol
DeeJay said, January 17, 2010, 10:21:46 pm I still play with your other Dhalsim, but...this is a keeper. Great Job x2
I just tried out the new version of Dhalsim. The only thing I found during the Vigor mode is that it drains too slow (Is that intentional?). Here's some suggestions on him:- How about changing the hitspark sounds to the ones P.o.t.S used from his Geese, Cammy and E. Honda? They still feel like the original CvS2 to me (The hitsparks themselves are fine, just not the sounds).- A new 120 x 140 portrait (A similar style like your other characters).- Ever plan on making an SF4 soundpack as an alternate voice?Nothing else I can suggest for now, thanks for the release. Hope you update all your characters with this new style.
Thanks, guys. I'm glad you like him. SolidZone 26 said, January 18, 2010, 01:06:03 amThe only thing I found during the Vigor mode is that it drains too slow (Is that intentional?).It's supposed to do that, there are way too many other ways for Vigor Mode to end, so I made it as slow as possible, considering the other factors. He can be knocked out of it by if he is guarding or if he is hit, and he can't air-guard. He loses it when his power is below 500, so the vigor moves will handle that. Even so, if vigor mode were to last the whole match, it'd be the incompetence of the opponent, or the skill of the vigor user; maybe both.SolidZone 26 said, January 18, 2010, 01:06:03 am- How about changing the hitspark sounds to the ones P.o.t.S used from his Geese, Cammy and E. To me, it looks like a regular Dhalsim portrait. I thought most of your custom palettes on your characters have that custom color on the portrait.Rajaa said, January 18, 2010, 05:16:33 amI planned on it, but decided not to doit. No problem. If I find anything else, I'll let ya know.
Nice hyper portrait. Its very Rajaa now, which i guess is the point.Don't add the name of the move i dont think it would go. Its nice the way it is.
For some reason, I can't do the short range normals by holding back or downback oh wait, readme. Job. Will continue testing and will update this post if i find anything out of the ordinary.
Very nice update. Vigor mode is much more interesting now, and using it can be rewarding. I'm not too keen on the hitsparks. Looks like they were rescaled a lot by a sloppy program. Update to 1.0 and let people use Crazy Koopa's hitsparks !!! About the new super portrait, the idea is really nice, and it's kinda well done, but I don't like the fact that the borders are plain red. They would be much much better if there was some slight gradient from red to black (black being near the border of the screen), with some red ink dots beside the portrait.Concerning general gameplay, I have not much to say, as he plays very well. He's harder to combo with, because of strict juggling, but that's the new style anyway, so it's all good.Which version of Dhalsim is it already ? Version 5 or 6 ?

I just want to make sure there are no bugs, so I asked some people who know how thigs should work for the type of system I was aiming for, and I'm waiting for Wild Tengu.Cybaster:Cybaster said, January 18, 2010, 07:35:57 pmVery nice update. Not to just drop what you're saying, but they look absolutely fine to me. I secretly re-uploaded him with better quality ones. But who knows which one you have. He can still do his given cancels, though, watch AI, or test it out for yourself. Cybaster said, January 18, 2010, 07:35:57 pmWhich version of Dhalsim is it already ? Version 5 or 6 ? I don't even know anymore. I should keep a version history starting now. Do you know about the never released version where I made Akuma appear in his moves as a tag partner? I'm not even joking either. Lol.
Gameplay wise i think its your best yet. I wouldn't strip down anymore, as you risk it becoming too vanilla. Vigor mode works, and I have nothing against it. Personally i think its too complicated a system. Theres a lot of things to know about how it works. This is really an unnessessary personal opinion, because gameplay wise It works great.I like how the top and bottom boarders of the hyper portrait have a shredded paper or cloth look to them. Maybe adding some depth to the boarders would make it look pseudo 3d, Just a thought.

Didn't know about this one. But really, you should put a LULz or old section on your site, and re-upload the 1st version of Dhalsim (with the grooves removed). It really was fun to play with him (even though he was overpowered).
Dunno if the sprites were CVS, but this Dhalsim had one or two CVS Groove bars, yeah (K-Groove, to be more precise).

The earliest version I have is like 3 versions ago. The Akuma one is lost for good, and the groove bars would lead to me searching the net. Maybe I'll make a joke character like that now, with better coding and stuff. I want to do a joke character, actually, seems fun! Thanks Laquak!
