I've been waiting for this, I love (and hate at the same time) the Diablo games. They were always such a blast when they first came out, but kinda ruined by balance issues because of overpowered items and stuff. So far, the game looks like it keeps the classic Diablo gameplay intact, but I hope they keep it tightly balanced.

That gameplay video was EPIC!! It was like watching a 3D isometric movie. lol @ one of the players who got his head bitten off by the boss toward the end.The game looks good. Too bad my PC probably couldn't run it.

Yeah I Don't get it Either. The Game Looks Good. People are just Bitching because it's Not as Dark as the Other Games. Personally I'm Fine with how it looks So far. I will Miss the Dark look of it, but Hey In the End it'll all be worth it.
I actually like the fresh look Diablo III is gettting. I'd make it just a little more darkish (more D1/D2 esque) but I'm really ok with it. I just hope they don't exceed it because I can actually imagine this looking like Warcraft 3 (in terms of visuality) which I dont want .As for the character classes (well, the two we've seen so far):I wasn't surprised at all to see the Barbarian returning. He was IMO the all-around favourite of everyone. He pretty much seems that he'll be the same as in D2, albeit with some minor changes here and there.The witchdoctor on the other hand really surprised me. While I will REALLY miss the necromancer, this guy seems like an excellent replacement (if it happens to be its replacement, anyways). I mean, come on...wall of ZOMBIES!? I'm a BIG Diablo Fan. I wanted Diablo III right after II was released. The graphics look really. Gonna need to upgrade if I Wanna play III. I still say an MMORPG of Diablo would rock. (You could technicly consider Diablo an MMORPG because of it's 'Multiplayer' feature.) What I really want in this game is multi-classin. That'd be really bad ass, ya know? Personaly, I loved the necromancer and Barbian class from Diablo II.
Meh i find the story for D3 will be okay i guess not as good as D2. Now that the 3 Prime Evils are dead supposedly if Baal didn't corrupt Tyrael as most ppl believe and from the cinematic it looks like they will touch on what happened after he destroyed the Worldstone. Now that Diablo is also dead(no way for him to come back as said in the story his soulstone has been destroyed and his body has been destroyed nobody to embody him). Also wow i never knew Starcraft was made in 1998 i always thought earlier then Diablo 1. Major surprise to me. Well Diablo is still the mother/father of Warcraft 3 then unless they had heros in Warcraft 1 as well.

I don't think they broke WoW. It's still horrendously popular.SC2 though... really doesn't give back the charm of the original. Diablo, through being a bit WoWlike, should do pretty well. They essentially have a built in fanbase for it with WoW doing as well as it has.
They actually lost 600k subscribers since the release of Cataclysm, I think that's their worst expansion yet, so yeah it's still "popular", but they definitely screwed with it a bit much.

My brother hasn't had any problems logging in and playing the game. There's lag (lol single-player lag) but that's more from our 1mb connection than the servers.With that said, my cousin from Texas bought the game for my brother as a gift. Lucky bastard.

Also shit. And yeah, I usually kite with Crippling Razors FoK and tank with Gloom Shadow Power then heal with Battle Scars Prep but it's not been working so hot. I run Grenadier because I die a shitton, I haven't really been farming like I should be. Dying is hella fun though, I learned that I rap random songs when I'm kiting and tanking and trying not to die.my buildI need better gear so I can actually have a damage build instead of a ghetto ass tank/melee/die a lot one.
trust me: im supposed to be a tank but with shitty gear that gives me 4k armor and about 3k damage, my ass is getting handed to me by those yellow elites fucks (or even by say 5 mobs ganking)...im definitely gonna farm my ass some serious money to be able to afford those expensive shit in AH.build wise im going for vit obviously and definitely some hp per hits or im doomed(currently packing a shitty 33k hp pool...and not enough lol)if you ever wanna farm or whatever, let me know btw
