I grew up in the 8 and 16 bit era and was always fascinated with some of the music my favorite games like Contra, Sonic 3 and Super Mario World produced through my television's speakers. A lot of my favorite music comes from gaming, so when I found out about this documentary, I naturally went ballistic and started watching immediately. I've seen up to episode 2 at the time of typing this, and saying it's a must watch is an understatement.

I also thought it was fitting to mention this to Guild since we're kind of creators ourselves, whether it be portraits, screenpacks, stages, characters or even AI. It's always phenomenal to hear the stories behind some of our favorite pastimes, and this documentary delivers in spades. Seriously, don't miss out. The interviews are insightful and nostalgic, and the cinematography is clever and colorful.

Check out Diggin' in the Carts: A Documentary about Japanese Video Game Music. You won't be disappointed. ;D

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.

Being that 8-bit music is my favorite genre, I really enjoyed this.  I'll have to watch more of the episodes later when I have more free time.
