Holy shit, that is pretty good.
Only thing I'm wondering is if his hand had any detail to it or not (palm marks, finger marks)

When you continue shading, make sure that under the helmet (eye holes and under the mouth guard) is the darkest part. I remember that from the original art.

Yeah, I've been slacking a bit, but hey, I got my printer to scan stuff, so no more muddy quality art. Yippie.
(Note, the brightness is pretty notable in the first few, but the last couple have that issue fixed.)

The colors do look like they clash a bit there, but I'm guessing that was the idea. Looks fine to me though.
