I can't honestly say i've made a stage completely and 100% by myself. There is always someone to give me pointers, suggestions, feedback or things of that nature. Even the people that taught me how to make stages still to this day give me pointers and explain to me what should and shouldn't be done, such as EXShadow, MOTVN and Tamez (from time to time). But all in all, I would say a team effort is always a good idea, you can get ideas you may not have even thought of and it benefits you in the long run.

we should make a thread so people can ask or get teams.

I have enough of a hard time working with myself.
This thread is producing a shitload of bad grammar, at this rate it'll be a disease.

we should make a thread so people can ask or get teams.
It has been seen that teams are never built like that. If one asks for a team to help him, either he's a beginner/unknown guy and nobody will answer, either he's kinda known and mostly leechers will apply in the hope of getting some sort of beta, without giving anything in return.

It's not about making a topic as a market to hire a team. It's more about creating content for Mugen that interests people enough, and saying you need help in various aspects. If the stuff is interesting enough, or the work that has to be done is easy enough for people or within their range of competence, there's a chance people will apply. This is what was done for PDC for example.

For a team of 2 or 3 people, it's best to actually PM who you're interested in to be your teammate, and see if he wants to join from there.

For projects done as teams, you're better off heading to Comic Mugen forums such as CVG or Infinity, where they're known to work as teams to build their stuff.

sure if possible, I hate coding, but again how to put an idea into words and to make the other party understand is sometime difficult, since the idea can be very vague, and through several trials it can turn out into a new idea that is more useful than the first concept.
if the team is a real life friend with extensive time together then it will help, but I have doubt in online team for a full char, maybe instead I'll make a mock up version first and let a better coder polish it rather than working together from scratch.

I hate to work with other people but I need spriters to bring to life any new move or get hit I need on my game.

I still think my aerial orochinagi frankenspriting is not really good but atleast I like it more than the one in Vans' Kyo
I'm sad you feel that way, I made it from scratch and it took me a while to get right. I wish I had the time to actually animate it further, but I can't sprite like I used to. Now, come on! You're being a nitpick, the animation happens so fast and there's the huge fire around it, you're basing on a frame by frame basis instead of actual in game animation, we went for being practical and original instead of using whatever already existed (which is how the whole Air Orochinagi began).

Show me yours please, since I don't think it has been publically released, so it's easy to bash without being actually exposed.

I would like to team work with somebody, I even did a topic about it, however it was ignored. Well, it's something which we must deal with... If nobody is interested, then we should rely in our own skills. But nothing is late, so I would welcome a team work if is possible.

I never said I was giving up, what I mean is that we should not be crying for help. If somebody wish to try a team work with me, then it'll be welcome^^

It depends on who you tema up with, I ahve had really nice team experiences with [C], ahrimanes, rolento and dampir , so so experiences that I can't recall, and horrible experiences with people whose name i don't mention but treat you like they are payiong you just to put their boring ideas in mugen.

You didn't get me right, I like it more, it doesn't mean it's better than yours! (You're a spriter with alot of experience, all I can do is cut-paste which often results in suckage of course your verson is better! XD).

I should get that gif back but I missed it and it's not even in my Kyo to begin with (He doesn't even have special moves on his SFF yet :P). Still in my opinion you should add an extra frame to the falling animation because it lacks movement. I know there's fire and all that but even with all that I was never happy with how it looked like in game (I never analyzed how it looked like on the SFF as you thought).

You know what? I'll give it a try in august and try to recreate the orochinagi again, if anything I'm sure all the spriters from this site can give great feedback and help me improve it step by step.

Funny how that also works in reverse (Reminds me of Blue_Blood's Luise and the constant coder changing :lugoi:)

pls
