Most anything with modern rastafari junk sends my mind into ADHD overdrive. I'm so hyper that I don't give a fuck about anything; that's special enough for me.

If you want examples, Loyal to the Game by Tenor Fly, Cowboy Ranger, Demolition Man & Terry T; most anything with Bounty Killah (Bulletproof Skin probably makes me the most hyper though); Fly by Sugar Ray ft. Supacat.

I have no idea why, either. All I know is I want more rasta gibberish to listen to.

My dad used to listen to Rare Earth all the time, so it really takes me back.

A Day in the Life takes me to my special place.

The Darkness-I Believe in a Thing Called Love: takes me back to the eighth grade during a school trip to Charleston.

My dad is a huge Beatles / Queen Fan, and every sunday morning during my childhood he'd play their songs before we went to church. Sitting on the floor with those enormous black headphones, I'd just sit by his side, and he'd take out the vinil records with the lyrics and stuff like that.

the theme from final fantasy II on the snes
and im not kidding it was one of my earily childhood memories when my brothers were playing final fantasy
(there 10 years older than me) i was happy to see it brought back in final fantasy XII it really brings me back

But, Honestly by Foo Fighters
and Melatonin by Silversun Pickups

all these songs sort of put me in a state of nothing.
best songs to just sit back and forget your troubles to.
